I just want your advice for my problem with GSM service provider M/s Airtel. I was holding a post paid connection registered on my Name: Srinivas Gowtham K bearing number: 9945895555 and was using it for morethan 8 years. Due to unforeseen situation i wasn't able to use the number for few months and even could'nt pay the bills. But recently i cleared all my dues including late payment charges. Then i was surprised that Airtel did'nt reactivated my connection but rather started asking for premium charges of Rs.5000/- for the same number to be reassigned to me again. I called up customer care and argued with them for same in vain. Now i am in confusion whom to approach to resolve this. My requirement is that same number should be assigned back to me as i am in to business and my number is been circulated to many people and its going to be difficult to coordinate without the same number. Kindly help me out in this issue.
