I (Abhishek Raj) would like to bring to your notice that I have recently shifted from Gurgaon to Pune on the 11th Jan'11. I got all my house hold items and Car bboked through "Jai Ganesh Movers and Packers, Gurgaon". They initially quoted me a price of Rs. 22000 incl all. Once they came to my place for final packing and shifting on the 8th Jan'11, after all the items were packed and loaded for delivery from my house, they said that there is a separate charge of Insurance of the house hold items and Car(Maruti Suzuki SX4) and a service charge. Hence, the Grand total came to be Rs. 34200 incl all. They said that they would send the Insurance documents to me the next day i.e. 9th Jan, which was not delivered and advised me that it will be handed over to me upon delivery of the house hold items in Pune. They finally delivered all the items to me in Pune on the 12th Jan'11. BUT, as per their prior promise that they would send their staff to UNPACK and ARRANGE all the delivered items AND WOULD HAND OVER THE INSURANCE PAPERS, there was no one to do so and only the driver and few other guys on the truck helped in shifting the all the house hold items to my flat AND NO DOCUMENTS OF INSURANCE WAS HANDED OVER TO ME. Please note that all the items were only deliered to me without any unpacking. At that moment I could only manage to find out that there was an LPG Gas Cylinder of Bharat Gas was missing from the list that we had prepared for all the items. To which, I gave them a receiving stating that "1 GAS CYLINDER IS MISSING AND THERE IS NO ONE TO UNPACK THE ITEMS, HENCE I WOULD NOT CONSIDER THIS A COMPLETE DELIVERY".

Later in the day, only me and my wife were left in the house with all the items to be unpackked, I kept on calling this movers n packers guy in Gurgaon asking him to send someone for our help, as we are new in Pune and have no idea of the place at all. He was of no help and kept saying that he would arrange someone to visit my place and help us in unpacking. BUT no one came untill today. We started to open the items our own, one by one and the next day, we were SHOCKED to know that, all the glasswares were broken, the Fridge has a big dent in the front door, photoframes were broken, and to top it all when the Cable guy came in install the LCD (SONY BRAVIA 32 INCHES), WE FOUND THAT THE LCD PANEL WAS COMPLETELY BROKEN FROM INSIDE AND NO EFFECT FROM OUTSIDE. Upon which I called up the packers guy again in Gurgaon to inform and he was saying that YOU ARE INTIMITAING HIM AFTER TWO DAYS OF DELIVERY, TO WHICH I COULD NOT REALLY HAVE ANY ARGUMENT, AS MY CAR IS YET TO BE DELIVERED, AND I am afraid of facing any further problems with that. MY CAR HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED YET, I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING WITH HIM ON DAILY BASIS. HE DOES NOT PICK UP MY CALLS ALSO, I HAVE TO KEEP CALLING HIM 20 - 30 TIMES A DAY TO SPEAK TO HIM.

I then gave my LCD to Sony service center and found that there is a charge of Rs. 15948 that I have to pay for changing the Panel.

I am not sure that what can you all do to help us?????? We are heartbroken!!!!!!!! Looks like we have to spend a lot of money to rearrange and fix up everything that we have lost so far.

PLEASE NOTE THAT MY CAR HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED TO ME YET!

Please advise as to what all can be done against these issues that we have!
