Fashionandyou is a pathetic website. The other day I saw they are selling enliven shampoos and conditioners at rs.520(they mentioned the original cost to be rs.700 for 400ml). But I buy the same enliven shampoos(400ml bottles) from spencer's at rs.160. My theory is that, maybe they just hike the prices and sell shit to customers. Shame on them!

I ordered a LAFUMA CHRONOGRAPH wrist watch from the site at 80% discount (Rs. 2500 for a rs10000)

To my horror, I found that the Chronograph shown in the picture is actually a design only, and the buttons shown are also dummy buttons. There is actually no chronograph in the watch, its just printed on the dial. The product is something that you will get for less than Rs. 300 on the streets.

Even the warranty certificate is in a language that you can never understand. There are no [COLOR=#009900 !important]contact details

or [COLOR=#009900 !important]service center[/COLOR] numbers on [COLOR=#009900 !important]the certificate[/COLOR].

Nowhere on the site or product description it was mentioned that this the chronograph is just a design.

Moreover what makes it a perfect fraud is the way they execute the order hand in hand with the courier service. Its a huge amount for me and I feel duped
I request for some action to be taken.
I feel that my money should be refunded.

My order no. is 1562027. Today I receivedthe Watch. The product is not genuine (fake) . On your website you vouch for AUTHENTICITY. Please look at this matter.
I ordered Aspen Women Wrist Watch( Color - White) - Rs1999.00. What I received is looks like thrown watch on a foot path after using it. Till now I don't know that White Color will be like this.



I am regular Online Shopper. This is my first order from Fashion and You. I never had any problems with the other sites. Now I am believing that it is a fraud site and cheating
many people. If it's not Just refund the amount to me.

I bought a gift for my mother, an expensive Brahmin bag worth 13,999/- from Fashion and You, order no. 1585884, on the 8th March. They delivered it promptly on the 13th March, and I gave it to my mother on the 17th since her wedding anniversary is coming up next month and I've never given her anything nice for it.

Imagine my surprise when my mom called me up and says, "Megha, I took out the bag to use it, and it fell apart in my hands!". So my response was, "what???! What happened?" She replied saying, "I took it in my hands to see it and use it for the first time, and the handle link just came off! Will you be able to get a replacement or a refund?" I confidently said "yes mom, don't worry".

I call up FNY today, on March 20th, and speak to some senior customer care person called Ridhi/Nidhi (not sure?) She tells me that they can't replace the bag because it has been more than 3 days since they delivered it. I never found such a clause on their refund policy. I'm desperate here because this is a very expensive bag and means a lot to me to give it to my mom, so I ask, "can't you atleast repair it?" Guess what she said? NO. So I ask her, that here I am with an expensive gift that meant a lot to me and my mom, and I made the mistake of buying it from FNY.com, and its literally falling apart before the first use even. What do they think I should do? She said "I DON'T KNOW." Now I have no money, with no gift, and a useless defective bag all thanks to FashionandYou.com. This is what happens when you believe their lies saying that it is a good quality bag that will last for a very long time - I've attached a snapshot of their site with their MISLEADING promises like "they are made from high quality materials to last you a long time", which was their message next to another Brahmin bag they were selling on their site about 15 minutes back (its not there now!). My bag didn't even last 5 minutes!

This is not even the first time they've screwed up - my earlier order no.1383788 was "lost" thanks to their inefficiency. The address mentioned was my door number, B1 in the flat where I live. So what the courier guy did was give the packet to my watchman because I was not there, not call me or sms me to tell me its been delivered, not even ask me before giving it to this random person who he didn't even know. And FNY is now refusing to refund my money back to me. Why did I even bother ordering the bag from them again!!

I am very much depressed on the online shooping from Fashion and You fraud idiots,Also i Purchased a kurti and they have only sent me the mail and no cals on its regards, they simply dispatch it on their own and donot confirm about the dispatching,,this ia a very serious concern, please take immediate action on them..fraud peoples also charging shipping charges extra with no intimation and sayin ur order cannot be cancelled..I fee like balsting their shop..frauds no 1...Kindly check this screenshot

I, Lavanya, ordered products worth almost Rs 800 vide order number 1677124 on March 27th 2012 under their express delivery products. I was told that the products would be delivered within seven working days. Today is April 11, 2012 and I have still not got my products. However, fashion and you says it has already delivered the products.

I asked them on April 9th about the status of my order and they said they will call me before delivering.

Today, on April 11, 2012, I am told that the delivery has already been made to me! My point is, the delivery was not to be made to me. And I am not present at the given address, so who has take it? And no one called me before delivering the product!


Also, they say that they have an internal courier service and that we cannot track the order status! No transparency! Now, I asked them to tell me who took the delivery, fashion and you says they need 7-10 days to find out from their internal courier service as to who took the delivery!

It is all a fraud, I was researching on all these sites to do a story (I am a journalist) and I have found myself in a trap! The story of course goes out as the customer care is pretty rude!

And the best part is, their website does not accept any queries that can be submitted as on their contact page!

There are many more who have faced similar issues!

I am told it might take about a month for this to be sorted!

"Things that I don't learn and continue to falter".

Well, yes, it is the same story. First, it was the most fraudelent BagItToday also known as India Today Book Club(ITBC), then it was
MakeMyTrip. Now, inspite of my "gyaans", her highness's binge of online shopping with FashionAndYou.com continued and today it ended with much of bitterness.

Okay, lets me make it more simpler:-
Ever wondered why we post our best photos on Facebook & Orkut? If you know why, then you might very well understand why we should not be buying things online especially from sites like FashionAndYou.com

When girls spend a fortune of time to get ready for shopping and take a millenium to choose "a dress", I do not get the logic of why they would buy something online based on a set of photographs. If you trust me the way I trust my photographer friends- Rahul and Alvin can make even a rusty bicycle look great or a simple fisherman look like he has the best profession in the world.

So, the story is that her highness had ordered a set of garments worth INR 1300/ and when it arrived, she thought it was not even worth mopping the floor with.

Then, we called the customer care who refused to accept it. So, I am blogging here just to let you all know that we have to be wise, especially when shopping online.

FashionAndYou like any other online store strives for maximum profit and though you might get good order sometimes, there is an equal chance that you may not like the next stuff that you order. Also, I dont believe the prices are competitive. They always have an additional burden of shipping charges.

My simple advice , "Avoid FashionAndYou.com. Avoid going blind with the bling!"
