I received call on 4/10/10 at 1.45 pm by company executive claiming to be from India today/bag it today.
The phone no from which I received call is01203310700.
The person who called said me that u have own rs 27000 ,and gold vouchers from our company as winner of gold box promo.i asked him should I have to pay anything, he said no but u have to generate two ids to carry out the transaction, for that have to purchase either Samsung cam recorder worth 11399inr,or Samsung mobile phone worth 17000.i opted for first option. He asked to tell me my credit card details to payment gate way and carried out transaction. Transaction id for that he said is10089549
Then he said that my call will be transferred to another executive who will open my gold box. The executive with whom I spoke next told me that he opened my gold box and my benefit is increased. I will win prize up to rs 65000.i again asked that whether I have to pay anything ,he said no sir but we have create one id to claim this prize for that u have two choices either go for mtv package or Samsung 3Gmobile phone. I asked what about prize money he said u will get rs 27000 hard cash, by which way I want it ,by dd,cheque,online payment, I said online payment. He said we will transfer money to Ur bank within half an hour. Opted for first for which he said I have to pay rs 14000,transaction of which was not possible by my credit card. he said pay rs 7896 which was carried out through credit card .then he transferred my call to third person called rakesh ,he told me that He opened my gold box and I will receive details of gold vouchers by mail he said I have to purchase gold online and mentioned that have to purchase gold from internet site I said whether I have to pay for that then he said only making charges sir, and when asked about prize money he disconnected my call. Now I am not able to contact them.
After end of call I realized that I have been cheated and asked my credit card company to block my card, which has been done.
I here by wish to lodge complain of cheating against the concerned merchandise.
Kindly look into this matter and help me to get justice in this regard.
