    Thumbs down Kerala water aurthority tariff

    Dear Sir,

    I am residing at village region of Thrssur district kerala.
    I am a consumer of KWA(kerala water authority) from 2005 onwards and I was paying the charges regularly.Last year I paid a one year advance payment upto Feb 2010.
    This year I went for the payment that time they informed me you have additional bill of 16000 and it is mailed to your address and after two days it was recieved.
    My present monthly consumption is @ 93 KL and they calculated it as 1537 RS per month.
    When I searched their website it shows above 50 KL the monthly trate is 390 RS and 25RS /KL.
    So it will be arount 1435RS.
    I dont have any problem in paying that apart from this they said a additional bill for 9000 for previous excess usage.As KWA it is their resposibility to take reading every 6 months and change the tarif.
    They did do that they did not send a bill to me or they did not ask me for additional when I went 2009.
    So is it legal to pay the additional bill for previous years.

    If they done that in time I would have taken more care in my consumption.

    Pl help me in this regard.

    Angry Kerala water aurthority tariff how u calculate?

    Dear Sir,

    I am Lawrence resident of Ernakulam district kerala.
    I am a consumer of KWA(kerala water authority) from 1986 onwards and I was paying the charges regularly.
    my bill from 02/2010 to 03/2010 is 384rs and usage is 10kl ( previous reading in kl 88 and present reading kl 98)
    and this time 04/2010 to 07/2010 is 768rs and usage is 16kl ( previous reading in kl 98 and present reading kl 114)
    which is almost 2time the previous one i want to know how this is calculated the date is taken as u like and charge is adding as u like..... please give us a feed back
