    Default Pathetic service by BigFlix Pune

    I have been a Big Flix member since last year. Earlier the service was prompt - they promise pick up and delivery within 24 hours of sending a pick up request. However, in the past 2-3 months, my DVD gets picked only after a few days. In Jan 2009, inspite of repeated reminders and calls to customer care, my DVD did not get replaced for over a week. In Feb 2009 too I faced a similar problem.

    They generally blame it on lack of delivery man power, man power strike, or better still they have new recruits who are not trained.As a member, I do not believe that I need to suffer due to Big Flix's lack of ability to maintain and train delivery people. I sent my last pick up request on Feb 22nd and got my movie replaced yesterday (5th March) after a good 2 weeks instead of 24 hours. They did not even intimate me of any issues.

    The ironical part is that I get an SMS every single day that "we have sent out XYZ title for delivery..." but no one comes to deliver. I have effectively lost over 3 weeks of movies and want an EXTENSION OF MY SUBSCRIPTION to compensate for my loss of movie viewing time.

    My complain id is 693687. I call customer care every day but they have no answer.

    Request that my complain is duly addressed and I am compensated for my loss else I will not hesitate to complain in bigger forums like newspapers, which has a wider audience.

    Hi ,

    I agree with vaishali , i m new to Bigflix ,today is my 5th day of registration .I have maintained my queue of movies as per asked by customer care ,and even then not received a single movie from Bigflix.
    Customer care people are useless they have no idea how the site is been operated what is to be done , whom to be contacted etc...
    simple they will provide you and complain id thats it.No action nothing.
    By profession i m computer eng. and i found many exception while operating the site , full of bugs.:&

    My money is completly waisted here...

    Default bigflix harasment

    i am a member of bigflix , from last 3 months in bigflix website they have mention my address pin code but when i told him to service this area they told they are not abele to cover this area or service this area , they harrasme from last 2 -3 months tere executive call me 2 or after two , saying would u like to subscribe bigflix subscription and when i told him all the problem by customer care they told they will resolve but no response from there side , i want a harrasment punisment or imposing a fine for misguiding costmers

    Thumbs down BIGFLIX Rental - The worst movie rental company

    Hi,
    This is a big scam. They take the membership money in advance, deliver DVDs promptly for 2-3 days to falsely establish the fact that they provide good service and then disappear after that with
    no trace. I have called almost everyday for the last 8 days to get a movie picked-up and the next one delivered, but nobody in rental Bigflix is remotely bothered for this basic service running their whole movie rental business. The Customer Care is full of dumb parrots who can only say one line, ’I have taken your complaint and I am forwarding it to the concerned department’. That is all they have been told to say, seems like a bunch of zero IQ school dropouts. If you request the CSE that you want to speak to a supervisor/manager, they will put the call on hold for eternity and come back saying they could transfer the call. They do not come any dumber than renal Bigflix customer service executive. Rental BigFlix has set the bench mark for the worst customer service, dumb of the dumbest customer service agents, zero responsibility and money making scam.

    I guess since there are no late-fees, they really don't care about late deliveries. And in their terms and conditions it pretty much says that they don't garantee time for deliveries :

    "All active members are entitled to borrow a disc. We offer a complimentary delivery-pick up service. Our delivery service will deliver / pick up discs between 11 am and 10 pm and will make 1 delivery / pick-up per transaction. All movies with time limits borrowed are due to be returned with in the stipulated time limit by default. Members who fail to return a movie with time limit within the specified time frame will be charged a late fee per title for every subsequent day, unless and until the disc is returned. The onus to return a title rests with the member. The definition of day refers to a day date calendar and not a 24 hour period. Pick-ups / deliveries will be done only once in the given time slot and will not return again in the event of the disc not being available / no authorized person to accept the disc.

    We reserve the right to allocate and ship DVDs/ VCDs among our subscribers in any manner that we, in our sole and absolute discretion, determine. In addition, we will, in our sole and absolute discretion, determine the quantity of DVDs/ VCDs we purchase for any particular title and the level of staffing and number of shipments to be processed at each distribution centre. As a result, we may not always send you the top choices from your queue, and we may not deliver your next DVDs/ VCDs on the same day that we receive one from you. At present, our goal is to deliver the DVDs/ VCDs listed highest in your queue. Also, we currently try to deliver DVDs/ VCDs from the distribution centre closest to you so that you get movies quickly. Often, on the same day that we receive a DVD/ VCD from you, we will ship out the next available DVD/ VCD from your queue. In certain instances, your next available DVD/ VCD will not be shipped out until at least one business day following our receipt of your returned movie.

    Other factors that may affect delivery times, include, but are not limited to, (i) the distance between the distribution centre from which your DVD/ VCD was shipped and your delivery address, (ii) the timing of your placement or adjustment of movies in your queue. (iii) circumstances impacting delivery by the third party logistic company. We use the services of a third party logistic company to deliver and pick up movies you decide to watch.

    We may not process returns or deliveries on Sundays or Holidays. We make no guarantee as to the shipping and delivery of DVDs/ VCDs and may in our sole and absolute discretion, change our business practice regarding allocation, delivery and shipping, without notice. We may from time to time revise these Terms & Conditions but we will not necessarily provide you notice of the revisions. It is up to you to review the Terms & Conditions frequently to determine if there have been changes."

    stop using their services, and maybe they will change their proceedures, as for now it simply looks like they don't care

    Default bigflix mumbai - hopelessly bad service

    I have been a member of bigflix for more than a year now. in the last few months, their service has deteriorated to hopelessly bad. In the last few months, every single movie that i have requested for is in the " short wait" or "long wait". Even movies with totally obscure actors and unheard of directors are in the wait section.
    I was away from the country for nearly a month, mainly in October. Once I came back, I found out that I couldnt even log in with the username and password given to me.
    Repeated emails to ccare@bigflix.com elicited no response. Ther so called "customer relationship manager" was unavailable. no calls on their contact centre were answered.
    after a final mail to ccare@bigflix.com, im now writing to the consumer court.

    In my opinion, the Reliance ADA group in entirety is engaged in delivering below par service after promising a certain level of service.

    This kind of poor service needs to be severely dealt with so that India as a whole doesnt suffer for the greed of a few "businessmen"

    Default BigFlix DVD rental closed

    Today I got suprize from bigflix after calling them that they have stopped the DVD rental services. There was no communication from them regarding this, I called up Customer Care then only I got to know this...They are now moving to VOD (Streaming Service). I demanded for refund of my subscription amount I am not sure that I will get it back....Its true Reliance (as you have seen in Guru movie).

    I will never trust Relaince in future for any services.

    Default Big Flix IS a Cheat ... Beware

    Hi Folks,

    I had taken a Bigflix Membership, but the service was so pathetic that I never renewed it. And today the scene is that no one is even bothered to refund the deposit amount, I have sent several mail to the cust care but no response.
    As a word of caution SAY NO TO BIGFLIX

    No some seem to have good experience with big flix here.Good for me i joined this forum other wise i would have registered their.Can anyone suggest other places?
