I have been a Big Flix member since last year. Earlier the service was prompt - they promise pick up and delivery within 24 hours of sending a pick up request. However, in the past 2-3 months, my DVD gets picked only after a few days. In Jan 2009, inspite of repeated reminders and calls to customer care, my DVD did not get replaced for over a week. In Feb 2009 too I faced a similar problem.
They generally blame it on lack of delivery man power, man power strike, or better still they have new recruits who are not trained.As a member, I do not believe that I need to suffer due to Big Flix's lack of ability to maintain and train delivery people. I sent my last pick up request on Feb 22nd and got my movie replaced yesterday (5th March) after a good 2 weeks instead of 24 hours. They did not even intimate me of any issues.
The ironical part is that I get an SMS every single day that "we have sent out XYZ title for delivery..." but no one comes to deliver. I have effectively lost over 3 weeks of movies and want an EXTENSION OF MY SUBSCRIPTION to compensate for my loss of movie viewing time.
My complain id is 693687. I call customer care every day but they have no answer.
Request that my complain is duly addressed and I am compensated for my loss else I will not hesitate to complain in bigger forums like newspapers, which has a wider audience.
