    Angry Complaint Against H1B Sponsorship Agency - Everest Consulting Group, Chennai

    Hi,
    I am Chinmay Mahata form Kolkata. I want to complain against a Visa sponsoring agency in Chennai. Below details what I faced till now.

    A consultancy group, called Everest Consulting Group Inc, NJ, USA, also have a branch in Chennai (everestconsulting dot net), contacted me in February 2008. They offered me a job in US and was ready to sponsor H1B visa for working in their US office. For this they asked me to pay a deposit money of amount INR 1,00,000/- to their Chennai office. I send them a bank draft, drawn on SBI, on 01-03-2008 through DTDC to the following person of Everest.

    Then according to their mail the Education Evaluation went well, I got selected in the visa lottery and they sent me my EAC number (EAC-08-149-50726). They also informed that during Jan/Feb 2009 they would send me the papers for visa stamping in the consulate in Kolkata, immediately after successful stamping they would arrange for relocation to US. But no papers I got from Everest Consulting.

    In January 2009 they informed me that because of bad economy we need to wait, Everest Consulting would inform me their course of action later. In the mean time I asked them several times to send the papers by post, but they did not. The last communication I got from Everest on 25th March 2009 in which they told that they would send me the approval papers. After that I did not get any response from anybody in Everest Consulting of my mails (though the mails did not bounce back). I sent many mails to many persons in Everest asking them to return my deposit money if they are not going to process H1B anymore, but no answer. I tried to call them in US office but no body picked up the call.

    I also contacted Everest's Chennai office, they told me that they would inform me their plan. After that there is no response from Everest Consulting in Chennai.

    Can anybody help me or provide me the suggestion that how I can get my money back from Everest Consulting Group?
    Can I go to consumer court or International Consumer Rights Protection Council to get my money back?

    Please help me.

    Default No responce from visa agent after taking my original document and fake comments

    As i have applied for Visa through My friend as i did not have much idea about the visa and all, hence i submitted the required document to my friend Mayur, When i have selected in one company in nigeria,
    I have submitted my Original Degree Certificate, Diploma Certificate, Original Passport and related company document on 15/06/2010 along with Rs. 10,000 cheqe,
    During the documentation he told it will require hardly one week, But now he has given me the direct Number of Visa agent i.e Nomads International Nagpur, Mumbai. and when i am trying to contact to them, they are just trying to avoid me and because of the delaying in the procedure i lost my offer in nigeria, also we have not received all my document till now,
    they are not even responded even by single mail, as i requested them to send t he single line mail to convince my employer regarding my visa processing,
    But i don`t know why they are trying to avoid me and not responding me, even some time we are getting comments that u will receive it by tomorrow or day after tomorrow but there is no perfect time has been came till now,
    Hence i am requesting to concern authorities that please look into the matter and help me to get my document immediately.

    Thanks to this Forum. Everest Consulting Group settled the thing with me by repaying back my deposit money. Thanks to Everest Consulting Group.
