Hello Sir/Madam,
After several calls to "Euro Movers and Packers", finally I had composed an email to "Euro Movers and Packers" in regards to damage and misplacement of one of my package on 28th Oct 09 and again reminded them on 31st Oct, but till today no response is heard from other side.
Please find attached the item list packers company had provided, without proper numbering, no insurance receipt. The second package from the item list is completely missing.

Please find the below mail written to them;

""Myself Prem Singh had moved my household items from Bangalore to Chandigarh (GR#: 1481)
Initially it had 26 items, but upon reaching here the conditions of few of items cannot be described in this mail.
I have attached the item list with the mail. The second carton in the list is completely missing.

When we were talking about moving the items, the Bangalore rep told that you can use our godown for a week, but when the truck reached Chandigarh, he changed his words. Now he said, please unload your goods, the truck needs to go back. Is this the commitment you are showing to your customer?
And when they sent my goods, they did not even sent some men to unload the items. It was me and the auto driver who unloaded the items. And you had taken money for both loading and unloading?

The way they mark the goods, i really don't understand. I am not from this background, but would suggest you to mark a number on the carton also, so as to locate it easily to us and also in case it gets misplaced.

I even talked with Bangalore representative, who is now saying, you have already signed "Goods received OK" so you cannot claim insurance.
What i want to ask you is do i have a X-ray machine, that will scan through the goods and give me report.
It was only when i opened each package, i could see the damage and negligence done to my good.

I must also bring to your notice that 1 whole carton is missing which contained a steel drum, my MBA books, my and my wife's clothes, 3 Mysore silk sarees and many more stuffs. These things money can't replace, we had collected over years and lost with minutes.

Later i even talked to Hydrabad head quarters, he assured me he would enquire into the matter but due to Diwali festival, all staff is on leave till 25 th Oct.
Therefore i gave time till 25th, but to my surprise when i called him up on 26th morning, he dint even had my contact number.
It's very pathetic behavior you people are showing towards your customer.

I had asked him to at least send me Chandigarh representative to see the damage and i can proceed with my claims, but till today no response from company.

This was my first experience with movers and packers, but the way my goods were handled, i am thinking of selling my goods when we shift next time.

This is my last request with you people, please send a company representative ASAP and analyze the damage done.
Secondly i want my lost carton to be, else i don't have any other option, but to lodge a complaint with consumer court.

Hope you will consider this as high priority and take necessary actions ASAP

But after this mail also there was no updates from these guys.
Therefore i am writing to consumer court to please intervene in this and help me out in getting claim to my damaged items and get back by lost package.
