Pathetic customer services by Gati Hi,
I booked a cargo by Gati from Haryana to be sent to Pune. At the time of booking the cargo, I was told that the cargo is insured and RoV charges are for the same reason only. Further on the docket it is not mentioned whether its Shipper's Risk or Carrier's risk. When the cargo was received at Pune, one of the carton was completely torn and has been tapped by Gati tape but still it was delivered open and contents broken.
When I lodged complaint for claim they are saying you were supposed to get the cargo insured externally and Gati wont do anything about it. How can I claim for the damages?
