I am not sure which section should this question go exactly.
I have recently vacated the rented house due to some differences with the owner. When I occcupied the house, 3 years back, I gave 78,000/- as security deposit to the owner. I have got a signed agreement with owner that I will have to give him 7800/- for repainting when the house is vacated and increase rent by 10% every 11 months. 11 months after occupying he accepted to reduce the rent increase rate from 10% to 8%. But now he is demanding to deduct 9828/-(thats current monthly rent) for repainting of house or difference 2% for last 2 years.
Please suggest me what should I be doing now.
