I am here in seeking help. I have taken Artha health card from Artha Options. They are big fraud people. They dont turn up to any facility they offer while taking card. I wrote a mail to the Finance manager of the company also but of no help.

Here is the problem :

I have taken Artha health card in the last september. My card number is 0641373. I was given an option of taking the free travel to the selected places. I called Artha to use that facility. I got a reply stating that Artha have stopped giving the transportation facility. Then I requested for cancellation of my card and they agreed to cancel and request has been approved. But whenever I call Arha I got answers like "My cheque will reach me soon", "2 more days", "It is dispatched" etc., . This is happening from quiet a long time ( more than 2 months apprx.).

While registering with Artha, sharif was the manager who spoke to me on this. He has promised that If I am not satisfied with the service I can cancel my card and take back my money. Now sridhar is refusing to keep the words what Artha has made.

I have not taken even a single service from Artha till date. The first thing I requested was transport option which was denied to me. Then why I am not getting my money back when I am requesting for cancellation of card? Now I dont want to Artha to give me any travel service now.

I am humbly requesting to help me out in getting the money back.


Please help people from these kind of fraud companies.

ARTHA: A FRAUD COMPANY

I am an Artha card holder since last 2 years. As of now, I do not have any problem with it.
My card has expired and yesterday I received a phone call from one of their executives.
He told me that because I am a card holder since last 2 years, they have a gold membership which costs Rs 3992 that covers 2 master health check ups and unlimited number of visits for one year.
I agreed to go for it and paid Rs 3992.

Today again I received a call from their office telling me that the remaining payment needs to be made. What remaining payment ???

Then they told me that the gold card costs Rs 9992 with a validity of 2 years.
But the salesman has not informed me about it.
This is totally wrong.

Anyway, after heated discussions, they extended the validity to 3 years and offered me to give a yearly vacation.
I agreed to it.

After 4 days, they again called me and told that I need to pay Rs 19000 /- more for the gold membership.
Earlier whatever I paid (i.e. Rs 9992 /-) was for just the processing fee.


What is this ??
This is just non sense.
I immediately blocked my card so that they can not deduct any more money.

This message needs to be spread to all people.

Hi i was a employee of Artha when i joined this company i was very happy that i have joined a good company but when i started dialing day by day i came to know that people of Bangalore are getting cheated by this company. According to me the product is VERY NICE & GENUINE but there is no service at all only 1 in 100 is getting the service. The CMD's of the company are only behind people's money and Prathibha's Pussy. I came to know that pussy's have more value than efforts & hard work, Instead of doing like this Mr. Arun, Anil & Amar can go and sit in front of the temple and BEG. The people who uses their effort in sales have no value in front of people who cheat, and even people of bangalore have no BRAIN's they are paying lakhs to this bleady company. If any of them really wanted to help peoples please do something and even Police are supporting for this. If people want to use their service they need to call them atleast 10 times for the Appointments and whenever Customer asks for holiday first reply would b NO DATES ARE AVAILABLE. Its a worst company i have seen in my life...PEOPLE OF BANGALORE PLEASE DONT GET CHEATED u earn for you and your family not for these kind of fraud company.

ARTHA: A FRAUD COMPANY

I am an Artha card holder for over 2 years. They had offered me these health options. After lot of persistence, I gave in and given my card details. I know this was not supposed to be done, but I too fell prey for it.

First year i had paid Rs 1994/- and the vouchers for the same have not been utilized at all. After which last year (2010) I had got call from them offering me unlimited vouchers and travel package for just Rs.2993/-. He told me that because I am a card holder since last 2 years, they have a gold membership which costs Rs 2993 that covers 2 master health check ups and unlimited number of visits for two years.
I agreed to go for it and paid Rs 2993. I had paid them the money (they used the card details which already had). After I signed the charge slip, I got a call saying that I need to pay at least Rs 3994/- for availing the entire offer. I told them that I am not going to pay any more and said that I will take legal action. Couple of days later they said that I need not pay any more money and I avail the offer.

I was happy that I have managed to control the issue. But it was short lived when I got a call yesterday (Jan 4th'11) saying that I just need to pay 1994/- and I will be able to access even the hotel facilities and even breakfast, Lunch & Dinner for free. As you would have expected the person I am, I have signed the charge slip today(Jan 5th) and paid.
Later at 1.30PM I get a call from the Area Sales Manager asking me to pay Rs. 14000/- that is pending. I got a total shock when I heard the amount. I told him repeatedly that I was not at all informed about it and I am not going to pay the amount. He said that I have signed an application form(which he was not ready to send em a copy at least). He threatened me that in case I fail to pay Rs. 14000/- I will be liable to pay Rs.1,32,000/- and he has people who will take care of extracting the money.

Today again I received a call from their office telling me that the remaining payment needs to be made. What remaining payment ???

Then they told me that the gold card costs Rs 1,32,000 which they were offering for Rs. 19,000 with a validity of 2 years. But the salesman has not informed me about it. This is totally wrong.

Anyway, after heated discussions, he was planning to double the offer. I have disconnected the call saying that I will take the legal aid and get back my money.

Now I am in need of help and guidance as to what is way forward? Is there a way out of this and get back my money? SOS

Every day I use to call them more than 10 calls very irritating management from Arthahealth card
As of now I would had made 100 calls they are not responding

I have been offered the same package for a year for 1992/- as the actual cost would be 3992/- and they requesting to pay it at the earliest as the offer will close. By reading all your comments I've decided not to go for this and fall in their prey.

Guyz you all were very helpful and I'm thankful to everybody who posted their experience with Artha Health card and I'm feeling very sad for those who's gone through such harassment. I was shocked when I read Mr. SaiRam's comments where Artha asked him to pay Rs. 14000/- which if he failed to pay he would be liable to pay Rs.1,32,000/- and they have people who will take care of extracting the money. This is ridiculous !! Day Light Robbery and Gundagiri. WTF .. !!

We should share these to the Media then they will come to track, else they will enjoy harassing people to any extent.

This is Ashish.I seek help from you to save me from Artha.

I got a first call from Mr Vinay Kumar,Artha sales employee(9886575586) on 18/7/2011 for Artha Health Card for next one year because my existing
card is going to expire.This was for Rs 2993/- and I have given permission for that.I received the Artha card also for that expiring July 2012.

Exactly after a month on 20/8/2011, I got a call from Lina and Ashok(both Artha Lead/managger) saying me that I have taken a Artha Gold membership life time card and for this I need to pay Rs 120000/- per year because I have given permission to Vinay. I was fully shocked to hear that.I told them that I have not given any permission to Vinay for Artha Gold Life time membership card and argued with Mr Ashok for long time.At last Mr Ashok(manager) agreed that I need to pay Rs29999/- and it will valid for next 3 years.But I still did not agreed.Then he told me to pay Rs 19999/- and rest of the amount he will take from Vinay becasue he had provided me the wrong information.When I asked him for Vinay,he told me that Artha has sacked him.For wrong doing of Vinay, I had to pay Rs 19999/-.Anyhow I agreed to pay becasue they were saying that they have my credit card details and they will deduct amoutn from that, but with some promise made to me as stated below-

1.Unlimited Artha Consultations in the disciplines of (General
Physician, Cardiology, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, ENT,Paediatrics & Gynaecology)
2.Unlimited Artha Dental Consultation, Dental Cleaning and Polishing,Dental Filling & Dental X-Ray
3.Three Years validity till 31st Dec Aug 2014.
4.Two Master Health Checks
5.Two Total Wellness Checks
6.Two Leisure P12 package for 7 days & 6 nights (any one destination out of Ooty / Kodai / Kadaltheeram / Munnar / Mussorire / Manali /Mysore / Yercaud / Yeligiri / Darjeeling /Lonavala / Puri, with breakfast, lunch,dinner)
7.EMI of Rs 555.52/- for next 36 month to be started for the amount 19999/-.
8.Decleration letter that there will not be any transaction in future after this.

And they have deducted amount of Rs 19999/- on 20/8/2011.After that episode, I was relaxed that I will not get any call from
Artha Sales.But they have decided to harass me.They(Sachin and Samuel both Sr Manager) again called me and this time the problem is
much beigger.They called me and told me that that they will cancel the Artha Gold Life time card which I requested and will give the benefit for 5 years only and for that complete settlement and cancellation of life time card I need to pay Rs 39999/-.I told them that I will not pay any money.Then they are saying that they have all my details and they will extract money from me.

This time I really got frustrated and decided to file an FIR againt them but before that I thought I should go with complaining to consumer court.

Now I have decide that I will not take any of their service and I want all my money (Rs 19999/-+ Rs 2992/-) back which I have paid.

I,therefore,request you to please look into the matter as early as possible and suggest me the way forward.

Hello friends, I am getting calls from Artha Health Options regarding family health care services. They said that they have a scheme for family in which we can go for general check up and consultations to the reputed hospitals of Bangalore. I have not yet took any decisions to go for such schemes or not! After reading your complaints and suggestions I am into dilemma that whether I can trust Artha Health options or just forget the schemes. Kindly reply asap!

I am offered a membership there today, just for Rs 1994/- which includes all master check ups any no. of times in a year and holiday tour. I gave a positive response but good that I used my brains to check if it is a genuine company or what... I will never make a mistake by signing up for the membership there... Thank you guys for submitting the complaints... But I am very sorry for all that has happened with you, hope consumer court will take necessary actions and you all will get your money back.

I got a call from Artha Options today. During the call itself I checked online about the company and i saw all the complaints raised by you guys. I even checked their web site. It was not working. I raised this point to the person who called me. He said it was working fine and tried to avoid answering further. GOTCHA
Scoundrels.. How can you cheat people like this? Why don't you all approach the police ? I told the person to call me back later as I am in a hurry to catch a bus and dont have time today. He said he will call me on Tuesday when i come back to bangalore. I'm going to royally shout at that guy if he calls me again..
