Went inside to receive my contacts prescription for ordering contact lenses. However, the man behind the counter refused to give me my necessary prescription so I could order my lenses online. When I went there the first time, the Ms. Kanarfogel checked my eyesight gave me a trial pair. Today, I went in and Ms. Kanarfogel was not in. Today, a woman who is supposedly the doctor there "Ms. Deborah Kanarfogel O.B" was not there to check if my contact lenses were okay. Instead, there was a Chinese woman around the age of 25 whom I do not believe to have a Optometry license was asked to check my contacts to see how I was doing with them. At the very end, I ended up ordering contacts with them and he said that he was going to ship it to my house. After paying an absurd amount of $364.00 for contacts, he called up his merchant and placed my order. There is no honesty in pricing and the pricing for anyway was not posted anywhere in the store. I understand that this may be called buyer's remorse but nothing he said stipulated that there could be no refund. I have found a place 10 minutes later that would give me the same for cheaper with a larger rebate. After reading the receipt, I saw that it stipulated that there is "No Refund or exchange." I called them afterward and asked them to cancel the order but he replied smugly saying that there was no way to cancel the order when it has already been shipped. How can it already be shipped when I ordered it 10 minutes ago? That makes absolutely no sense at all. Even after all this, I have not received my contact prescription. I paid $75 for my contact prescription and I still have not received it. I am absolutely appalled by these shady business practices. What happened to honesty and trust? What should I do?
