Artha people cheated me as well. With out my authorisation they dedeucted Rs 1995 from my credit card for renewal of policy for health card.

On contacting they are not giving my money back.

This is regarding the subjectline, where I would like to throw light on inconvenience and suffer I have undergone.

I got to subscribe for the Artha Health Option Plan in the first week of August 2008 after your executive has made a promise of smooth and convenient health plan option. The money amount was told to me was Rs 998.00 towards one year health coverage, but the amount deducted was Rs. 1998.00.

Above all, you have failed to send the kit and card. I have given call earlier in Jan and didn't received it.

Taking into account, this I would like to draw your attention that I have paid for the service which I didn't get.
Service is about serving it in time.
It has been more than 7 months, and you have failed to respond. In the first place it has failed the very intent of service for which I had vouched for.

Request you to revert back my money with accumulated interest asap as the money paid is unutilized and unserviced.

I have also been cheated by Artha Options. They are a bunch of thieves.
You will only see them till the time you pay the money. After making payment they cease to exist.

Im member of artha. My card number is 06 46187.

I've taken this artha membership last year by paying Rs. 1994, by June 2008.
While their representatives enrolled me for artha membership , I was not informed anything about the continuation of membership for second year.

But oneday, a person(addressed himself as manager) from artha called me up and informed that membership is getting extended for second year. I didn’t agreed at all to him, but he have immediately taken Rs. 1994 from my hdfc credit card, which i have given for the first year membership

Im going to file a charge dispute against this transaction at HDFC.

Please suggest me in this. Can you take any action against them.

How they can simply use credit card credentials for such unauthorised transactions.

I bacame member of artha health options in May 2008 after irritatted by their calls and force to join as they were telling ab big big services. I didn't use any of the service throughout the year. Then next year also their called me in June 2009, I told no I don't want to be a member of Artha. I didn't use it also. Again they were forcing why you don't want we will give big service this year and all............ I said no pls don't call me again.

After two months, July end I suddenly got two smses that Rs 1994 and Rs 2993 got deducted from my credit card at Artha Health......... how is it possible...... when I don't swipe, don't confirm anybody then how can they deduct money........ What permission RBI has given to Artha Health........ I don't know..........they are big fraud....... how can they deduct amont from my credit card. I am going to F**** them......... By the time pls get those frauds and punish them badly.......

I am Kranthi. For me also same thing is happened, they debited total of 42k from credit cards, i dont know where to complaint and how to get the money back, some body please help me.

Please don't with artha health in your life. They are the biggest cheaters i have ever came with. They call you for your option renewal and get your credit card details and do the transactions intially and then do additional amount of transactions without informing you. This happened with me this year for about 10 thousand rupees. Since I was member of artha for last 2 years I wanted to extend the membership and they told I will be charged 2993 for extension and then they deducted 2993 more saying that I will get 2 full health check-up coupons. I was ok with this point.

Suddenly the next day they call me and say we will be sending you the coupons and just wanted to confirm the amount that I have paid and say a total of around 9k is deducted from my card and I was shocked. When I asked why 9000 as it has to be only 5986(2993+2993) they said that the 5986 for card renewal as I will be getting gold card and the additional 2993 for health check-up vochers and after fitting with them they told since inconvenience happened as they can't do the reverse transactions they will extend my membership to 2 years instead of one.

The after couple of weeks I get a call saying they will be sending the vochers and the amount deducted was 13k+ and I was really shocked because nobody told about the additional 4000 amount deductions.

I really don't know what to do now. Now I am at the receiving end... I am really confused and I really feel sorry for myself as I am in such a helpless situation.

Please don't go with these artha guys,.. they are really big cheaters like country club and other clubs. They are here to lot the public. I have decided that I will never ever go with guys for anything. Now they have started a new venture in real-estate. I really don't know how much they will cheat there.. Here I am lotted in terms of thousands. God save the people if they are going with these guys in real-estate.

The same thing happened to me as well, They debited around 23 K from my card withour my approval, and I don;t know whom to complain.

I am also one among the victims of Artha. I have been a member for last 2-3 years, but this year they have debited around 25000 from my credit card without my prior permission.

When they contacted, i told them , I am not interested in any further of this kind. They said they will close my account and for that I need to pay Rs. 8000, for closure of account, and thinking that they will close it, I paid that amount.

But still they haven't done that and again they called and they said for closure, I need to pay Rs. 19000.

This is leading to mental strain to me,
I don;t know, how to get rid of,

I had previous experience about artha not giving the doctors mentioned in their panel, when they came for renewal, they promised me that I will get the desired doctors for my consultation and after taking the renewal, now they are not even giving me any appointments and just disconnecting the call when they know my number. I had paid 2998/- for the renewal with my credit card. Seeing the other complaints in this forum, i don't know when they will use my credit card details for their advantage. NEVER give your credit card details to Them and NEVER go to ARTHA --- they are BIG FRAUDSTERS.

I have cheated by Artha health option. First year I bought and used it. Second year I told I dont want to renew that. But they said I have to take for three years and there is no other go. They got my credit card deails and said they have already taken the money from my credit card and just they are informing since I have agreed in the first year itself. I said no. But they said they have already taken the money.
Then I used to get a call once in two months and they'll say that there is some other option and I need pay some amount, If i say 'No' they wont agree. They'll say they have taken the money and no other way that I have to accept.
At last I cancelled my Credit card only because of those guys and changed my mobile number.
I have lost nearly 10k like this.
Please cut the call when you hear it is from 'Artha Health Option'.

I am an Artha card holder since last 2 years. As of now, I do not have any problem with it.
My card has expired and yesterday I received a phone call from one of their executives.
He told me that because I am a card holder since last 2 years, they have a gold membership which costs Rs 3992 that covers 2 master health check ups and unlimited number of visits for one year.
I agreed to go for it and paid Rs 3992.

Today again I received a call from their office telling me that the remaining payment needs to be made. What remaining payment ???

Then they told me that the gold card costs Rs 9992 with a validity of 2 years.
But the salesman has not informed me about it.

This is totally wrong.
Next time I will find it very difficult to believe an Artha salesman.

Be carefull before dealing with ARTHA HEALTH OPTIONS THEY ARE CHEATERS AND BOGUS COMPANY. NO BODY RESPONDS AND WHEN THEY CALL THERE WILL BE A VOCHER TO SIGN AND BILL TO PAY .
