This is to kindly inform you that I pledged 50 gm of 24 carat gold bar with Mannapuram Shastripuram Agra, UP branch to meet my finacial requirements.This pledge was made on 28/09/2011 and Gold Loan Pledge No. was 0123460700000222 against Rs. 91000.
I went on (11/10/2011) to the branch to pay the full amount get back my gold bar and to my astonishment I came to know that due to a theft in the branch, I could not get my gold back.Further, I was treated badly in the branch and there was nobody who could resolve my queries. I was told that it could take a month or two to get back my belongings and I would be liable to pay the interest till that period.
However, after several calls and emails, I was assured that I would not be charged for the interest after 11/10/2011. However, till today (11/11/2011), there is no one in Mannapuram who can give back my gold or the value of the gold. This had led to tremendous financial crisis in my life. Everyday, I go upto the brach and get an answer that I will receive my gold back after one week. It has been more than 32 days, since I have been getting this turnaround.
Please can someone help me in this matter.
