I have got my Eicher truck refinanced from Shriram Transport Finance. I have repayed all installments and only 5000/- was due. However, there was some delay in paying the installments. When only 5000/- was due on account of loan amt., they took force possession of my vehicle. After that, they forced me to pay 82000/- on account of late payment and vehicle possession charge(8000). They applied the interest charge of 24% annum + compound interest. Even that was not calculating up to 74000/-

The interest rate is huge & they also applied interest on interset. This is an actual case of customer harrasment.

Please advise if I can file a case in consumer court on account of improper interest charging and harrassing the consumer by taking the force possession of the vehicle.
