I had joined ICICI Bank on August-2007, through campus recruitment drive as assistant Manager, with respect to the cited matter, seeking our intervention and help.. It appears from the documents, he has mailed to us, that you had offered him loan @2.5 %pa ,amounting to rs. 5 lacs on a condition that if fails to serve the company for 3 years, he shall be charged interest @8 %pa.When he tendered his resignation in less than 3 years time, the bank has arbitrate rely, changed the policy and is now demanding interest @15%pa, which is clearly a breach of the earlier agreement. Such policy cannot be changed with retrospective effect ,there by penalizing the employees.

I am also facing the same problem, They offered my loan at 2.5 % in appointment letter, I did not took the loan, when I got my first salary Rs 4500 was paid less. when enquired they said its different of interest on loan whether you take a loan or not. then I decided to take a loan. but unfortunately I had to resign from the company as they were planning to shift the dept to hyderabad.

I requested them that I will pay the amount in installments but they are not agreeing and have charged heavy interest of about more than 15%.

I am getting harrassing calls from these numbers 022-43348426 & 022-32225043

They are thretning to come to my home and office. I am very much tensed as they are not accepting the amount in installement and I dont have capacity to pay it to gather with such a huge interest.

I need help.
