Angry excess ECS taken by BAJAJ FINANCE

I had taken a consumer durable Loan, Loan A/C No. - 410321957 for a SONY LCD at 0% Finance Scheme dated 22nd September, 2008. The total amount for the LCD was Rs. 27000. I paid Rs. 6000 in cash and the rest was to be paid in 14 installments of Rs. 1500 each. The first installment was debited on 6th Nov, 08. In the month of December I had cleared all my 14 EMI's but still in January, I can see a ECS of Rs 1500 charged by BAJAJ FINANCE to my account.

I have been mailing them and they used to respond. Then they asked from the scanned copies of all the bills. After I have sent them the scanned copies, they dont revert back at all. I have been continously sending them mails but the are not replying at all.

What can I do in order to receive my money back. Please respond.

    Regards,
    Sumit Kedia

Please find below all the mails we shared in this regard.

    Dear Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd.

I have also checked all my bills and found that I had paid 4 advance EMI, i.e, Rs. 6000. The left amount of 21,000 had to be paid in 14 EMI’s of Rs. 1500 and not 15 EMI’s. Its very clearly mentioned in the bill and your Loan form that further 14 EMI have to be paid and not 15. What I can do is attach the copies of the bill or fax you the same to see, as you prefer. In case you want me to fax them, please provide me with your fax numbers.

    TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I had taken a CD Loan, Loan A/C No. - 410381957 for a SONY LCD at 0% Finance Scheme dated 22nd September, 2008 from your dealer GREAT EASTERN TECHNOCITY, SARAT BOSE ROAD, Kolkata. The total amount for the LCD was Rs. 27000. I paid Rs. 6000 in cash and the rest was to be paid in 14 installments of Rs. 1500 each. The first installment was debited on 6th Nov, 08. In the month of December I had cleared all my 14 EMI's but still in January, I can see a ECS of Rs 1500 charged by you to my account.

I had a talk with my bank and they said that the ECS has to be de-linked from your end. Please look into the matter and reverse the said amount and send me and my bank a letter to de-link the ECS.

A fast response would be appreciated.

Default False Penalty imposed for reasons not known

Sir, I am Subhendu Mandal working with M/s.The Supreme Industries Ltd. as Manager. I have purchased a Sony Digital Camera from J.P.Electronics,Mira Road and availed a finance from Bajaj Finance where in the executive confirmed the ECS date of 12th every month as my salary credits on 7th every month. But I was astonished to hear a call of cheque bounce. I requested them not to present the cheque further and collect the EMI amount in cash. But it didnt happened and later on all the cheques were cleared. There was no confirmation letter received from the Bajaj Finance that the payment was cleared. On enquiring the dealer it was learnt that the loan is completed. Later on in the July09 I again purchased a Split AC of Samsung make from the same dealer and again availed the loan which was also completed on the March10. But till date I did not receive any letter about the completion of the loan. Later on from May10 I used to receive SMS that I am eligible for further loan of Rs.45000.00. Recently I thought of purchasing LCD of Samsung make from M/s.Vijay Sales, Mira Road and on availing the loan the executive alarmed me a penalty of Rs.2050.00. If there was any charges of cheque bouncing(Ist loan bearing no:405/326350) then it should be informed, which was not intimated at all and at the same time second loan(bearing no:4050CD00015170) was also sanctioned. So this is really disgusting and a fault on the part of Bajaj Finance to charge such a huge amount without any reason.
