Sir,
1. It is submitted that on night of 30.03.2010 cash of around Rs. 2, 50,000/- was snatched from us at the gun point, which was intimated to the insurance company on 31.03.2010 both through regd. post and letter acknowledged by hand by us from the company, they had appointed a insurance surveyor M/s Atul Kapoor & company for verifying the claimed assessing the loss, though our risk coverage was for Rs. 55,000 under the policy.
2. After the appointment of the surveyor as informed to us by the surveyor we had provided all the documents required by the him (copy of the documents enclosed) through he on his point had delayed while submitting these documents and his report to the insurance company .
3. Since, it was taking long and we were receiving no feedback from the company we had made correspondences with the company both phones and written (copies enclosed). After receiving, no response from the branch manager at Tolstoy marg.
we had approached their grievance officer Sh. Ragender Singh (copy of letter enclosed) subsequently we had escalated our grievence to their R.M. (copy enclosed) but no action was taken .Then we had approached IRDA for disposal of our complaint through their helpline and by our letter dated (copy enclosed) but we are yet receive any response from them.
4. We are approaching you for disposal of our claim we have been paying our premium regularly on time, but as very frequently it seen from insurance companies, as in our case they only believe in taking premium and not covering the risk against which premium is paid. Even after one year of the occurance of this incidence, we have yet to receive a single correspondence from the insurance company either denying our claim or settling our claim for loss incurred.
5.It is therefore requested that our case is registered against the insurance company, M/s. New India Assurance company ltd. for settling our claim of Rs.55,000. at the earlist which we are entitled to.
