This is with reference to your email dated 27/04/2011 forreconsideration of claim for loss of passport registered with us under theabove mentioned policy number.
On assessment of email sent by you for reconsideration ofthe case as per the documents submitted to us we have observed that date ofloss of passport as mentioned in the claim form is 06/03/2011 & filedFIR/police report at Horsham Police department .on 07/03/2011. However, thesubmitted police report dated 08/03/2011 & the police report states thatthe passport was last seen by you on the 8th March 2011. There is discrepancyin the dates of loss of passport in the claim form & the police report. Inaddition, the passport was left in the hotel room drawer by you. Hence the claim is not admissible under below policyclause.
STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS(APPLICABLE TO THIS POLICY)

Is that the insurance company needs thepolice report to be as stolen instead of lost? I have the USA copsdepartment card. I will ask them to explain my situation to you guys if youneed further clarification.

Try to understand I am not a stupid toleave my passport unattended in some other country. You guys don’t knowwhat pain I have undergone to get a duplicate copy
Again don’t try to explain yourclause which is company favoring clause. My situation is entirely different.
In case you stand for denial. I am goingto file a case against this policy. I have all the proof against my loss ofpassport.
I am not expecting any sympathy from youguys. Please try to pay my claims and let me know the status ASAP.

Hello Sir/Madam,
This is the email regards to the correspondence received on12/14/11. I am very disappointed after seeing your letter as the claimfor the loss of passport was denied.
Actually, I submitted all the proofs related to thetransactions right from the police report, photocopy of the old passport, newpassport, original paid receipt, and other expenses related for getting the newpassport.
If you need some other proof, I can able to send thesame.
Please advise what I should do in order to claim the amountwhich I spent for getting the new passport.
