Sub:- Delay in claim of bike theft from "new india assurance co. ltd"

Respected Sir /Ma'am


I am Haneet Kaushal was having Motor Cycle Pulsar with a registration No. PB 11 AP 8630, My bike was insured by New India Assurance Co. Ltd.

My bike got stolen from out side my residence in Sarita Vihar on night of 10th September 2010. I filed FIR in Sarita Vihar Police station on 12th September 2010.

For the same i informed to my branch office (D8 Laxmi nagar) on 14th of September 2010 with the valid copy of FIR, information letter and RC of my Bike, at that time concern person was not there who look after the claims and Mrs Kavita has received my Documents, when i asked about receiving of the paper but she informed me that they don't provide any kind of receiving against the Information letter.
She also informed me that the date mention on the letter given by me is sufficient, Thats why i dont have any receiving with me that i have informed on time.

Later on i come to know that the concern person who has to forward my case come after a leave of one week and than there was a delay from Branch office to send the documents to Regional Office. Sir you can confirm on the same from Mrs Kavita mam also in Laxmi Nagar Branch.

I have completed all the formalities but now after 9 months i come to know that there is delay in processing my file due to late information sent by me.

Sir believe me i had informed to branch office on 14th of September 2010 with all the required documents at that tiem they refused to give any receiving to me and firmly said that they are taking the latter from me mentioning date so there will not be any problem, the letter which i gave them first time informing about theft has a date of 14th September 2010 as its footer signed by me.

Kindly look into the matter as its being a long time i am waiting for the claim. My file is with Mr. Ankur.

I have not done any thing wrong and informed on time to branch office the delay was at the end of branch office.

I request you to consider my points and put your kind attention on the issue.
