    Respected sir

    This is to inform you that I am a customer of reliance general insurance. I have lodged a request for accidental claim whose no is-2091021402.i have given all documents related to this claim on 30th jan,2009.but till now i have not received the cheque.and according to me the claim amount i.e Rs.9368 is also not appropriate.so,kindly look into the matter and assist me at the earliest.

    Sir i have purchased indica vista car last year gudipadva from balaji motors.They gave us cover note & told that it will come to your residence.After a year i could not get my insurance policy.In that cover note ,following information is given-

    This is to inform you that I am a customer of reliance general insurance. I have lodged a request for accidental claim whose no is-2101053680.i have given all documents related to this claim on 06th Mar,2010. but till now i have not received the cheque.and according to me the claim amount i.e Rs 400000/- IDV & towing , estimate charges is also not appropriate the surveyor is very much troubling in this matter.so,kindly look into the matter and assist me at the earliest.

    Sir,
    I have sent eight attachments,Discharge letter,Cash prenumbered paid receipts No.2784 for Rs.20,000/- and 2787 for Rs.3000/-,Detail Bill Summary,Medicines used in Hospital details,Admission sheet,Name Correction letter,Receipts of Original bills along with claim form at your office,Claim Form Submitted Twice.

    All investigation reports supporting diagnosis and break up of lab charges and medicine charges against final bill were added in final receipts . The investigation and pathological tests were done in house of Ayushman Hospital.Hence they have not charged separate.
    Medicines detail given to me time to time after conducting my Ulta sound of whole stomach and chest X-rays in house of Ayushman Hospital and diagnosed Hepatitis.

    I was admitted in Ayushman Hospital &Trauma centre,hero Honda Chowk,NH-8,Gurgoan(Haryana) on 03/02/2010 at time 1.15P.M. due to stomach pain and problem was diagnosised Hepatitis.I contacted to your TPA Medi Assist India Pvt.Ltd. on his toll free no.1800 425 9449 so many times but TPA has not picked my phone. If TPA picked up the phone then i will take cashless treatment after approval by faxing my Ultra Sound of whole stomach Report and X-rays Report and other paper of Hepatitis diagnosed.

    Now I have been waiting for my claim settlement since 11/02/2010 .

    How long i wait for pending claim settlement.

    My Santro Car DL3CAP0883 registered in the name of my Mother was recently applied for insurance with your company on 8th April 2010 & paid Rs5810.00 insurance value drawn on Axis bank cheque & credited already on 21-April 2010, New Delhi

    Reliance General Insurance Co. Ltd, 105-108 Express Arcade, Netaji subhash Place, Pitampura, New Delhi 110034

    however, on enquiring about the Original Policy Insurance cover & receipt, the person dealt with ( Ruchika ) is acting strangely & rude, & switching off the mobile no. is quite shocking & painful. She is behaving strangely & ignoring my phone calls & i doubt if this is the conduct now, then what happens in the event of a claim. If this is what a customer faces at the beginning, are we in for a shocking policy being conducted by indisciplined & unruly staff, insensitive to customers. plse note down the phone no.     The covering note Policy issued ( *109001559192*) is valid only upto 15th April 2010, whereas they promised i will have the policy delivered right at my address in max 15 days ( fortnight's time )

    Arrow Complaint against Relience General insurance

    Sir,
    Im the customer of Relience since three years. Im having Hudai Santro Car, I have loadging a claim for 13500. but the Relience sanction only 6757. My Claim No .2101083257. I have enquiry with the surveyer he never told me the actual sanctined amount before i paid to car workshop(Cash paid system). then i made call to bombay office they directed to call to chenai office claim manager but they treat me very bad. they told me that we paid only the charted amount fix by our company,same time the car workshop people say we charged only our standard, the insurance company will pay. now i lost 6743 rs. pls take immediate action regarding this because as for as my concern this leads to cheeting the public.

    Default Reliance insurance policy not settling the claims

    Reliance is big cheating company don't take any policy through this company. They will not settle the claim amount. Even tho they are not giving the policy documents. Without policy document how we can claim. I am already cheated with the company through policy no 9202502613000057

    this is my advise don't go through reliance insurance co. You will be cheated by soon.

    Default theaft claim

    Respecte sir,

    Your claim department is miss using the court judgment on late intimation of theft claim.

    To repudiate the claim they use 1994 court judgment of new India assurance, in that judgment there were clear negligence of insured or the mistake of the whom having insurable interest.

    But in the mention bellow case there was a mistake of re preventative of the company (as per agency law). Now without knowing the reason your claim department person repudiated the mention claim for their own benefit, which may cause loosing the company’s brand image in longer term.

    After mass up with re preventative on above mention claim dealer continued his insurance business with Rel gic in hope that Ril re preventative settled the claim positively. But when he got confirmation from investigator that claim might be repudiated on late intimation basis he stop the business with rel. gic.

    One more thing which your claim dept is not considering that 50% of Gujarat tractor dealership is under one family which belong with radhica tractor (Chi@@@@@ gandhinager).

    lost vehicle claim

    sir,
    i have lost my vehicle one year before .we have a log a complaint on yours help desk no 180030028282.Policy owner name Mr. Parveen Kaushik.All the formalities for the claim was submitted.my claim no is 2091286013 .but they r not processing the claim .whenever we call to your employ Mr.Suresh Bishnoi (9316002150).whenever we call him ,he always told i don't now don't call me and he is use abuse word.His way of talking discus ting after that he not pick my phone.

    I log a claim against my personnel car to a very reputed general insurance company.

    Each time I ask for the status they only say I will be approved within 7 working days.

    But it all ready cross 7 working days.

    So please suggest what shall I do.

    hello sir/madam,
    my name is sonal chawla
    my mother has a health wise policy of reliance general insurance..
    before 3 month she was operated bcz of leiomyoma of uternus...
    reliance has rejected my claim ...
    when i asked them about the reason they told me that one statement is missing in document submitted by doctor...
    they told me give application about the reopening the claim....i did that but didn't reply me..
    then again i gave my application to center of ahmedabad n again they didn't reply...
    1 month is passed...
    then i directly called on a toll free number...
    now they are saying that the statement submitted by you n statement given by you...
    i don't think so that that is true..
    ya ofcose the axact term used by doctor n the term used by use deffer...bcz normal person can't understand the medical language...
    so i think reliance insurance company has cheat me n rejevted my claim unnecessarily...
    so i request you to look in to this matter

    Default complent for Free look of Policy No :- 16862812 Reliance general ensurance

    I was purchase a new police from Raligare executive for Medecal Need but Reliance has issue me Traditional Super Investassure plan I am not satisfied with this policy So, i want to Free look cancelation of my policy


    I was recived the document on 15-5-2010 after complient on 5-5-2010, the complient no is 0002947297
    and Free look cancelation requested on 17-5-2010, compliant no is 0003029246.
    and Second Free look cancelation requested on 31-5-2010, compliant no is 0003120165.
    after then i will meet brinch manager and again cancelation Requested on 21-6-2010 compliant no is 0003256486.

    but not right action.

    Angry Non-Receipt of Insurance Papers / Wrong Papers dispatched on e-mail

    Dear Consumer Forum,

    I took Insurance Policy from Relaince General Insurance on 25th May 2010.
    I have neither recieved the hard copy of Insurance papers not the Soft copy.

    The soft copy that I have received on 05th August 2010, has wrong CAR registration number.

    The Covernote had the right CAR registration number, but the policy ahs wrong Registration number.

    After repeated calls (I am not Insured as I do not have policy with me and the Covernote has expired), they have reverted and told me to send the RC papers of the car. They have blatantly told that they cannot resolve the issue for another 7 days.

    I paid the insurance amount 2 months 10 days back and I have still not received my Insurance copy and my car is not insured.
    Please find the mail trail.

    Kindly Help.

    This is blatant abuse of a customer and his trust.

    Find attached the 'Covernote' and the RC Book.

    1. I signed the covenote on 26th May 2010. The Covernote expired on 26th July.

    2. I contacted your customer care much before the expiry and asked about my Insurance papers.
    I was told I wil recieve the Soft-Copy within a day and Hard-Copy within 7 days.

    3. I neither received the Soft-copy nor the Hardcopy after 7 days.

    4. Contacted the customer care after 7 days. I was told I wil receive the soft copy within a day.
    I did not receive it again for 5 days.

    5. Contacted Customer care again today and was told, I will receive the soft-copy today.
    Received it , but WITH WRONG CAR REGISTRATION number.

    EXPLAIN THE FOLLOWING -

    1. I paid the insurance amount more than 2 months back .
    Why was I not provided the soft copy or the Hard copy of my Insurance ?

    2. How is it possible that the Cover letter has the right Car registration number and the Insurance copy sent to me (soft copy) has a different number?

    3. How am I suposed to deal with the situation wherein, I am asked for the insurance copy by Police and I do not have one after 2 months of payment?

    4. Where is the hard copy of my Insurance papers whilst the Covernote has already expired?
