Dear Sir,

With this forum, I want to notify you regarding a fraud case that has been done with me by "Aviva Life Insurance". In Brief, please read the below:

"I have received a call on 23rd Feb, 2010 from a lady Named Miss Soni (as told by her). and offered me a personal loan at a very good rate of interest. I was asked the relevant documents with a cheque in name of “Aviva Life Insurance” for a sum of 7500/-. She told me that Aviva will provide an insurance against my loan and if there is any mis-happening my family members will not entitled to pay the amount. Also, after completing the loan tenure, I will receive this 7500/- back with interest. Hence, I submitted all the documents along with the cheque (No. 299804) on the very next day.

But when I received the bond (Policy Number tdv2896082) it’s a complete, mismatch. It is a money plus policy which is based on share market. I see that, it’s totally opposite to what I was briefed on the proposal form. Also, I have not received any type of information regarding the personal loan. that I opted for. I checked and the mobile number of that lady is not working. One main thing here is, all the information in the attached proposal form is totally wrong including my signatures too. I would call this as a clear case of cheating and fraud."

After that I tried to contact Aviva but they totally denied to accept this. But after a long process of mail and conversation on phone, they are ready to refund my money. And finally, after 55 days I received my money back with a note "As per the customer request we are cancelling the policy and returning the amount".

The main reason for writing to this is that this forum will take an action against these type of companies.
