    Default Complaint against ICICI Prudential

    Hi,

    I have ULIP from ICICI prudential. IN sept 2009 for some personal reasons ECS got bounced. Since then ICICI authorities have not presented any ECS to my bank. But on Feb1st 2010 they have tried to withdraw an amount of 22,500 at a time and my a/c didnot have sufficient funds in it. My bank charged me 200 as the ECS got bounced. Before trying to withdraw the amount ICICI has never contacted me. How can they withdraw such huge amount without giving any notice. ECS permission given to them was only for 4500 monthly which is the premium amount.

    Please help!!!

    I have actually contacted ICICI customer care about this. The only answer they have is to avoid inconvinience they withdrew this amount. I don't understand what kind of convinience is this.

    Default ICICI Prudential Fraud Policy

    My policy No. was 010975606 of ICICI Prudential, Health Solution.
    Mr. Mihir Sanghavi (9820778743) of Mumbai, Gatkopar branch made my policy, his boss was Ajay Negi.
    At the time of discussion he told me that the premium of the Policy is Rs. 10000. out of which around Rs. 4000 will be deduct as coverage for 3 L Heath Insurance and rest will be made fixed at 9.5% interest. At the time of policy Mihir did not disclose that it is going to be some different. I believed on him, and purchased the Policy. Then the policy paper was sent to my home town in Kolkata. At the time of policy I am told as the max amount is going to invest in FD so i can get back the rest amount even after one year tenure. If He told that I have to continue it for 3 years like any ULIP plan, then I thought some thing different.

    Now when the policy covered one year, i went to ICICI Branch, and I am told that it is under ULIP plan so if I need my money back, then I have to continue it at least for 3 years. Which is not my expected reasult.
    So, requesting you please do not any ICICI Prudential policies before thoroughly check.

    Default not refunding the cheque of decline policy

    hi,
    this is mayank chauhan. i took a policy from the icici prudential. my policy was decline because of my medical was not done. i took the policy before 8 months but still i didnt get my refund cheque. so dont go for icici prudential policies.

    Default ICICI Prulife : Group Annuity policy No. 8495 – Fraudalent denial for payout

    My father BS Arora got retired in 2005 and got his gratuity amount from the company. He added some extra money from his pocket and invested Rs 13.30 lac in a pension policy from ICICI prudential. He also included my mother Balvinder Kaur Arora’s name in the policy as ‘Joint Life’ holder so that she could continue getting the pension after him till the time she was alive. My father used to get a quarterly payout of Rs 28800/- odd from ICICI prudential.

    Unfortunately he passed away 2 months back due to ill health. To my surprise, ICICI have stopped the payouts towards my mother. I have been speaking to them since one month now and they are denying paying it. I sent them a copy of the annuity certificate which very clearly states my mother to be the “Joint life” holder of the policy but they’re not replying anything on that. I asked them for copy of the policy which my father had signed but they have not shared it till now. They have not replied to any of my mails in the last one month nor are they giving anything in writing. Every time I call them up they refuse to pay up and say that the policy is expired now.

    My father was 61 years old when he got this policy. He was a highly educated and qualified man and was not dumb enough to invest Rs 13.30 lac in a policy with a meager quarterly pension of Rs 28800/-. At this rate he would have not even recovered the principal investment by the age of 72 years, forget about the interest receivable. And that is exactly why he had added extra money from his pocket into the gratuity amount to ensure that his wife continues getting the pension payout.

    I have written to the grievance cell of ICICI prudential today but do not expect them to do much. I have seen the number of consumer complaints and court cases against them and they come across as a very unethical organization.

    I have also written to my advocate today and will shortly initiate legal proceedings against them. I am just awaiting a reply from their grievance cell.

    Can anyone guide me how to take this up with IRDA? I am not going to let ICICI get away with this one. Pl contact me on sumeet_aurora@yahoo.co.in or 9029888882 for any advice. Thanks

    Post Complaint against Policy no 15112994 due to extra ECS charges from my account

    Dear Sir,
    I have a ICI Prudential Life Insu. policy Smart Kid with policy no - 15112994 in your company. Sir last two month I have facing lot of problem regarding ECS payment. Sir last month same problem observed and now same problem facing because date 03/06/2011 your ICI Prudential Life Insu forwarded two no of ECS my bank account & 1075 rupees deduct from my account twice . Sir what is the problem why your your company forward the ECS again and again. How I can get the my money return back may be same problem will be continue with your company so I want to know what is the process of discontinue the policy because I'm not satisfies with your company. So I want o withdraw and want to some new other company policy.Please detail me why you deduct the two times ECS from my account now I'm going to cancel ECS.
    SIr how I can get the my all amount back from your company.

    I have written this email on Thu 9/29/2011 4:09 PM to gro@iciciprulife.com
    and again a reminder on 10/18/2011 5:44 PM from my office email id, but nobody will respond or ready to help. Will somebody please help me take appropriate action against this.

    Following is the email content which I sent.

    Hello team,

    My Smart kid Policy #06124195 which is taken 4 + years ago. I myself worked as a part time financial advisor and helped many people join ICICI PRU family HOWEVER I am very disappointed with my policy performance where I have paid 1 LAKH 20,000 RUPEES In total in the first 3 years and now I see the fund value is at Rupees# 77086.0833.



    I HAVE TRIED MY BEST to manage my policy and made switches based on market fluctuations/whenever I have time as I work in night shifts most of the time, Failing to SEE my MONEY GROWING I decided to seek help from ICICI customer care and initiated many chat sessions online and phone calls where they have PROMISED to send an executive to my home to assist manage policy also ask a dedicated fund manager to look at my account however NO ACTION has ever been taken.



    NOW…. My Only questions is if YOU are in my position will you let your MONEY grow NEGATIVELY from 1 LAKH 20,000 RUPEES to 77086.0833 RUPEES that too in a 4 years’ time which is a decent time for markets to fluctuate and stabilize.



    ALL I want is SEE MY MONEY GROWING else return my complete MONEY I paid towards the premiums.

    You will lose me as a customer as well ALL MY friends, family and company and corporate network who will never BUY ICICI PRU after sharing my experience.



    If required I may take appropriate legal action as well with all the PROOFS I have.

    Default non-retrun payments

    I have taken a policy No. 05703597 on 17 /07/2007 for 1000/- monthly premium & I have deposit it for ten months i.e.Rs.10000/-. I have checked our account in icici prudential ,kota branch . then they have not sufficiented reply to me & I have stopped my monthly premium after ten thousand only.

    therefore I request to you kindly took necessary action please .

    Dear People,

    The policy given by Banks is always in favor of banks, not customer. This is printed in stone from stone age.

    An example is, in ICICI Prudential when it comes to your premimum payment it should not delayed not even single day but when it comes to Partial withdrawal or surrender of the pilicy then the Bank takes 10 working days to credit the money in ur account. But Bank withdraws the money from insuarnce account on the same day of your request is done. Not sure where they keep the money for 10 days.

    Pathetic.....Never ever trust ICICI bank...

    I have an Icici prudential life time gold policy. n 2 weeks back I personally put the request for the surrender of that policy and submmitted all the documents and they said its done. U will get the fund amount within 10 days.Then I received a call from ICICI regarding confirmation of this. I provided all the details.n now when I ask the customer care about policy surrender status ,they said that ur policy surrender has been reversed becoz d person who called me has written that u dont want to surrender the policy.
    N now dey are telling me to again follow the same process for surrender.I mean what fraud is that. n they are not even putting complain against the person who called me becoz they cant track him.
    I think its just that dey dont want to return the fund so they are making excuses. Its dere employees fault or Its ICICI strategies to harass the customer for which we have to suffer.
    now I m not sure whether they will return my money or not.
    For me IF its not done we cant trust ICICI in future
