Videocon Refrigerator - Warranty Issues Dear sir,
I had purchased the Videocon Refrigerator Model No REF 55XDC SS (Gray) Sl No 111106260114304086 on 26th January 2007 from Mayur Electronics, Panvel, Dist Raigad, Maharashtra.
I placed my complaint with Mayur Electronics, Panvel regarding the non-cooling of the refrigerator which was promptly attended and informed me that my Refrigerator’s compressor is to be replaced and as it was under warranty period, I was asked to pay Rs.1200/- for gas filling etc. charges.
The compressor was replaced vide Job no 0623 by the technician named "Nitin" (Cell no 9022708221)and Rs 1200/- was paid. However after replacement of the compressor the refrigerator body was getting overheated and the technician on complaint informed the same may be due to overcharging of gas in the compressor. But in spite of number of complaints no one has attended to the same both with the Mayur Electronics and the technician.
Request you to kindly advise the concerned to rectify the problem at the earliest
