I wish i could have found this forum a bit earlier, so that i could have raised my voice against Acer Computers.

I Purcahsed Acer Travel Mate 5730 Laptop about 3 years back. It was good initially, the configuration and everything was good until i started facing problem with the Screen and Battery.
Battery problem was never a big issue because i knew i should expect much of Acer laptops but the screen issue of irritating and annoying.

Whenever i switched my laptop my screen would go blank and nothing expect a white screen appeared. It happened very rarely in the beginning but soon its frequency increased and i was not able to work over it at all. Every time i work over it i got a blank screen and nothing else. I had to reboot my system several times to get the screen back.

I though to file up a complain with Acer support online. Unfortuanetly just 7 days were left before my 2 years warranty would expire.
I was impressed with the quick response i got from Acer. I sent my laptop to Acer support center, Fraser road, Patna. They asked me to collect it the next day, however it took them 4 days to sought out the issue. Anyways, they said it will work fine now.

I also remember that i had recieved a call from them asking them to renew the warranty for further support. They asked for some 6000 or something (dont remember exactly), but not being a much happy customer i didnt take that up.

It worked fine for the next 7 days only, and now my warranty had expired. So the same problem arised and now with no warranty too..

Then i realized so foolish i was.. I was cheated by just temporary repairing my laptop so that they could extract the money from me again..

This was my case. Very much disappointed with ACER services.

Though i dont have details of the complain id any further as it happened 1 years back, but
