    Angry Reliance BIG TV Bad Service

    My set top Box was not working and i lodged a complaint in Reliance BIG TV Customer care on 16th July 2009 they gave me a complaint number (104222817) and told me it will be done in 48 Hours. Very next day engineer came and said the Set Top Box is not working will be replaced tomorrow on 18th July 2009 after that engineer never came back. I called customer care every time and they say your problem will be solved in 24 hours. Today is 24th July 2009 still no clue and we are loosing money in it and upset by it. I want to sue them and ask for compensation of Rs. 1000000 for the service they are providing. Such a big company and a very very very bad service.

    Default set off box problems

    i have done 5 complain
    1> on25/9 the complain no. is 10994776
    2> on1/10 the no. is 110277445
    3> on19/10 the no. is 111414544
    4> on29/10 the nos. is110236928
    still now my problems is not at been solved

    Default service of big tv is worst of all digital TV

    I am with big TV for 1 year now, In this duration i can't remember how many times i have frustrated with them.

    Begining from installation till now evrything went worst. You talk about customer care you talk about installment, package top up's information availability or even the site everything frustrating.

    I have seen the market also that many shop owners discontinued providing new connection or recharge top up selling. I dont know what is their viewpoint but i suggest all dont go for this. One who have benn trapped by it initialy have to suffer till the time they can..

    i am Amit Bhati from Ghaziabad , i had 5 complaints but resulst is negative , every time they give me a complaint number and say your problem will be solved within 24 hours. no has come till yet , my money is westing so big compnay and very very poor customer service so please do the needful for the same

    I agree. My smart card no is 200750292735.
    They have the worst customer service. I have relocated from ratnagiri to kharghar about a month back. i have lodged more that 15 requests for an engineer to come and set up my connection. the customer service guy always assures" sir, today surely someone will come". i also registered 3 complaints and they close it themselves without doing anything about it. and they dont even have the balls to admit what the real problem is. this is simply unacceptable. please dont buy a big TV connection. Please dont.

    As you mentioned that you have already registered your complaint with the BIG TV customer care but still not get any response, so we suggest you to send a written notice to the Nodal Officer via email or registered post, mention all the details in it and ask them for the proper solution with in the mentioned time in the notice, wait for their response and revert us back.
    Note: Keep all the copy of Complaint, Notice and the registered post slip, this may help you if you need to knock the consumer forum.

    Angry Pathetic customer care.......

    Reliance Big TV customer care is the most pathetic customer care I have ever witnessed.

    I took a recharge card today, tried to recharge and its not getting done hence I called customer care there they asked me to send an SMS which I have done still it was not solving my problem, I called the customer care again and spoke to Mr Aravind Kumar who very casually says that is not their problem, what does he mean??? This is the kind of customer care Reliance boasts about.

    If by tomorrow my a/c does'nt get recharged I shall ensure that the box is thrown in a dust bin, i will suggest all my friends, colleagues and relatives not to go for Reliance Big TV if its given free of cost also

    I've requested for shifting of my connection 16th Dec 2010, till date there is no action on the same. The Nodal Officer donot respond to the mail and the Cutomer care guys read out the same message over and over again "YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED IN NEXT 24 HOURS". They have no track or system of the requests raised. I recommend not to go for BIG TV. Ambani group is only intrested in minting money but not in providing service to customers.

    Default Big mistake in my life to subscribe BIGTV.

    I shifted my house to different location in Bangalore and requested for the address change by calling customer care as they disconnected the service. They said, they will send technician within one day. Next day technician called and confirmed the new address. They he told that he cannot come to that address as he had fight with local cable operators last time he visited and cut the call. Again I called customer care and explained about what the technician told. They said they will send the technician within another one day. I waited another day. Next day again same technician called and shouted on me saying, I already told you, I cannot come to that location and why did you complain again to the customer care. Then again I called customer care. New rep was not aware of my previous call. I asked him to check the previous call. Rep refused to check and asked me to explain again every thing. Then he said, he will resolve my issue with 2-4 hours. But after 2 hours, I got a message saying, my request has been closed with your full satisfaction without attending my request. Again I called customer care, they said, request is closed by mistake and created new request and said, they will send technician within one day. Next day also nobody came. I called the technician, from whom I got call before, He said he cannot come. This all happened for one week. This all happen during Cricket World cup matches. I'm a cricket fan. But I missed many matches including Indian matches. They also claim that, they have started express service during world cup matches. So, that customers should not miss any matches. Finally, I fedup with customer care and technician and got connection from local cable service provider to watch world cup cricket matches. Almost 3 weeks over, still nobody came to fix the antenna and enable service.

    Thumbs down Big TV decativated connection after Four Months stating Master withdrawn money

    I had BIG TV connectuon since last Two years. I march 2010 I had recharged annual pak by paying Rs.1870 thru AMEX which Reliance deactivated on October 10,2010 stating that pack was for 180days Only. I recherage again thru RBS Master card on Oct 13,2010. Now on Jan 16,2011 Reliance deactivated service on ground Master informed NO LIMIT after FOUR months and taken back money. I gave Reliance master card mail informing they are wrong still they dont accept and activated connection.

    Dear Sir/Mam,
    My ID No is id - 200896435673.
    Problem ; Remote is not working
    Complaint No. 163823832 on 15.10.2011
    Result- No service engr came
    Again Complained on 20.10.2011 ref no. 164164352
    But still no one came neither any phone call.

    Is this the height of irresponsibility towards valued customers. I am fed up.
    Please resolve immediately or i have to go Consumer forum
