I purchased a Sony erricson mobile: serial number: BD309DB1DX 35373602-040418-4 in July 2008 from Salora Retail ventures (jail road) tilak nagar new delhi 110018 the date this handset was purchased it has given me one or the other problem. I had made 6 visits to the Sony Ericsson Rajouri Garden centre as the phone continuously hanged and have got the software changed 3 times ( this can be confirmed from the employee) however this time on the third visit after giving various excuses I was advised to leave by phone in the center for 10 days and they will sent it to OKHALA service centre for repair.

I just wanted to know that in these times when the mobile phone is a necessity rather than a luxury how can one be expected to be without mobile phone for 10 days.

Also the outlet from which the phone was purchased Salora Retail ventures (jail road) are completely incompetent to answer customers queries and route all the customers to the rojouri garden service centre who in turn without checking the phone advice customers to leave their phone for 10 days or else visit the paschim vihar outlet.

I contacted the India and UK help desk and they are advising to go to one another.

I am sorry but this type of behavior exhibited by personne of sony is not expected and really falls short of claims made for unmatched after sales service.
