    Default Sony Tv- Poor Customer service.

    hi Team,
    I recently purchased a Sony Bravia 26" lcd TV, on the 3rd of May, i was given a AIRTEL HD set top box connection voucher with it to activate my HD connection, I wasn’t in town to do the setup and installation so i called on the 3rd of June, where i was told that the offer is now over and we cannot assist, i understand that the offer is now closed. but there are few things i wanted to bring to your notice.
    . I Bought the television when the offer was active.
    . I was never informed about the end date of the offer.
    . I called in for the TV installation, even at that time it wasn’t informed that the offer will end on the 31st of may.
    . There is no attitude of ownership when i call to the so called " customer care" team, they just say it was ur mistake that you dint know it ended and how we cannot do any thing.
    . The customer care agent went to an extent of saying that its on the website. if you dint check its not our fault.

    am very disappointed with the support that i received. am a Sony customer from a long time, I’ve 29" triton TV, and a Sony surround sound speaker system as well, am very unhappy with the support, and am looking forward for the executive team how they'll handle this situation,

    i have the activation voucher with me and am ready to pay 1000rs which is needed to activate.
    I was never informed that it will expire on 31st of may ,else i would have completed it before the deadline,
    am hoping that the case will be checked and proper action would be taken

    Sueba - was very unprofessional and rude the way she handled the call. and i was really looking forward to see how sony will take action on this case.

    Angry Sony "customer relations" are a joke - NEVER buy!

    My wife and I, after careful research in March of this year (read: 9 months ago), bought a Sony digital camera. $350. A little over the price of the nearest competitor, but after 40 years of buying Sony products I figured if anything went wrong they would be there for me. Bullshit. Not only were they not "there" for me, but their product had an issue from the beginning: had corrosion. We tried a few different new Sony batteries, even battery chargers. Finally, the damn thing just stopped working. Sony refused to repair it under warranty, told us it would cost $160 to repair. I reiterated to them it was bad from the start, and their response was we should have let them know before...! NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANY SONY PRODUCT UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THE WARRANTY.

    Default Very Very Poor Response by the Sony Dealer

    Dear Sir,

    I had purchased a Sony Network Walkman Model No. NWZ-B142F/DCE S.No. 6416337 on 29/05/2010 Bill No.8562 from Sony Exclusive Showroom, Haridwar M/s Ashoka Sales, Jwalapur, Haridwar.

    The Walkman as not working properly was given for repair at M/s Ashoka Sales on 25/03/2011 under Warranty period. Now still after more than 9 months the walkman has not been returned. The showroom owners are giving the next date only.

    I purchased sony lcd bravia on 15.04.2011.now i have a problem with my set. I lodged complain on 16.03.2012. My complain no.9635077. Your service centre is not at all co operating. I have made several phone calls. Every time they are telling that engineer will visit within 8 pm. I am waiting for the engineer from 16th. But nobody is coming. I heard that after sale service of sony is better than other company so i selected you. But now experience is witnessing opposite picture. Please let me know whether you will repair my tv set or not.
