AUTHORISED SONY SERVICE CENTRE at Bhubaneswar (Rajpath Service Centre) has taken 44 days just to declare my Walkman (Model no. NWZ-E443/VC E 14981017 with serial no. 6153374) dead. For everyone's knowledge it is just 5 month & 5 days older (as per the date on which the complain was registered). They told that I will be called & informed about my Walkman service status. They never ever called. Finally after having damm frustation I revisited the service centre, there i got to know that just one day before my walkman has moved to Kolkata service centre for recheck. Although they told it will take two more days if they find it non-repairable; otherwise 7 days in case for repairment. God knows when I'm going to have my Walkman. One more thing is I've to leave Bhubaneswar by 6th of may due to my completion of study over here. So kindly suggest me how can I take my Walkman from other service station(if possible), means is there any such provision? (I asked the same to the receptionist over there & she replied in negation of having such facility). Everything is ok, I just want to know what the hell you do to declare a Dead product a dead one, as you have taken 44 days for this. And what is your overall procedure for these types of complaints & how many OFFICIAL DAYS it takes for Complete Consumer Solution. I think, I deserve a REPLY as per my Consumer Rights, Don't I ?
