I own Su-kam Sonik inverter and Su-Kam dry battery. I reside in Gurgaon.
I have to write this in utter disgrace to say that I am very much dissatisfied with the service of Su-Kam customer support.
I had launched my complain on the morning of 28th May that my inverter battery(dry sealed lead acit battery) got instantly discharged when the power went off and battery charge symbol was red with no power back up. Inverter was also dead. I checked the fuse but it was ok. My complain no. is 1005032586. I did not get any response from Su-Kam customer support. My battery being in the warranty period was already replaced once. Still three months of warranty was left.
On 29th May about 3:00am in the night I heard two small blasts while I was asleep. I woke up and found that my inverter and battery were on fire along with the trolley, and damaging so many goods in the nearby area. Battery and inverter were destroyed completely. Area was flooded with polluted gas of the battery.
When I called Sukam customer care about this accident, one technician came on the next day to visit. I was told that I will be responded soon.
Despite the severity of accident Su-kam services are not taking any action quickly.
I had talked to the service head of Gurgaon to replace the battery and inverter.
Since today, 9th June, I am without inverter and battery. Nobody at Su-kam is realizing the seriousness of the issue and responding in timely manner.
I feel that failure of Su-kam services in time leads to such dangerous accidents.
I suggest that Su-kam dry sealed lead acid battery should be discontinued immediately.
