I purchased a SAMSUNG 2 star, 1.5 Ton AC on 19th June 2010 from a dealer in Sohna Road, Gurgaon. A week back it stopped cooling the room. In order to see that is wrong - I thought to refer to user manual of remote. To my utter surprise I noticed that the manual given to me is of someother model. I jumped to the site and found that the model shipped to me has no refernce on site. A deeper look of the material given to me suggested that the serial # mentioned on AC and mentioned on box are different. I told all this to dealer but he did not pay any attention and asked to to contact SAMSUNG customer care. I called up customer care and raised a service request. After many follow ups from my side which was done over a period of 3 days, a guy visited my place and said there was a GAS leakage problem. I asked him to explain as how is this possible for a new AC? He was unable to provide any convincing answer.
He assured me to get it fixed next day, but did not turn up. It is about a week and I have no clarity what to do?
I feel cheated by SAMSUND as they provided me a model which is not mentioned on its site. A wrong user manual, a wrong box.
All this has added to my mental agony and wastage of time and money.
I am going to file cheating case against SAMSUNG.
Request you to help me as how to go about this.
