    Default Acer Laptop problem

    Respected,

    I have got a acer laptop from my college. After few month of use it showed problem within its warranty period.

    I went and showed it to acer personnel in college. He said to change mother board.He took it and for 1month it was with them.It was all free of cost since under warranty period.Then finally one changed pc came.But again within a week it showed problem.I took it to aceragain he said motherboard change.Since then about 5 times motherboard is changed.But still it has problem.Although the service is there but no use of it. Dont know what exactly claimed in service and what is done. I am fed up of acer company and its laptop so are the service personnel. After being patient for almost 2yrs now the product warrantys over and its showing problem.There is no buy back nor exchange offer.What to do in this case.Can anybody help me from consumer court????....

    Hello Consumer Court Members,
    If you are facing the same problem with your ACER again and again even after many repair by the Parent company, it means the problem is irreparable and the product is faulty and need to be replaced. For that you need to register your complaint with their Customer care, and in case you are not satisfied with Customer Care response then send a written notice to the CMD of ACER, mention all the details in it, attach all the photocopy of relevant documents like bill, and the job sheet and ask them for the refund/replacement within the mentioned time in the notice.
    Wait for their response and revert us back.

    Default complaint against acer

    I strongly encourage everybody to boycott Acer products as it is simply not worth having a problematic product.My Acer laptop Aspire 4736 started giving me ample of problems since late June. I have barely used my laptop and it started being problematic. I contacted the vashi service center to solve my problem of fixing the HDMI port. All they did was increase my blood pressure. After ample of calling and shouting and getting insulted at by the service people, i got my laptop back after a month. After a week my sound port started giving me problems and then subsequently my laptop stopped charging. Mails have been sent by me to the head office in Bangalore. I then contacted their andheri service center as the vashi one proved useless. A lady named Shuba was the one i spoke to. They took the laptop kept it for another month. I tried calling and tried to follow up on the status of my product but they wouldn't answer the phone. There was no back up laptop provided. I have been greatly inconvenience and unable to carry out my work. Finally after two months i got my laptop back only to see that the fix was temporary. The charger port has again stopped working and they have also damaged my screen. They have stretched this and now my warranty has also expired. I refuse to pay for anything for the further repair of the laptop. I am fed up and want a brand new piece of the Acer Aspire 4736 model or a refund. I have tried contacting them but to no avail. Please avoid Acer it is the worst.!!!! i dont have the email id of the CMD or any high ups email id . it is not available in their site. i request you to please help me solve this issue.

    Default ACER laptop 5551

    We live in Houston & bought an ACER laptop 5551-2450 in June 2010. In May 2011 we were in India for a business meeting. The keypad lost one of the keys. We called the 1-800 number who directed us to the centre at Vashi. When we went to the centre and Vashi,we were told that we have to go to the ACER office at Bangalore or Delhi to fix a broken keypad key.....LOL. The reason was that IF a customer buys a laptop abroad and wants warranty service in India, he has to present his laptop alongwith his original receipt at Bangalore or Delhi!!!! Do you think that we have the time to travel within India???? I believe that we made a mistake buying an ACER product. ALL reading this,pls do not buy ACER products - the laptop is VERY flimsy and the support is useless.
