I purchased Sony playstaion from SAI electronics nirala bazar aurangabad on dated 1april 2008. As per time of sale they told me that u have warranty of 1 year with this sony product.
From last 11 months it was running fine,But few days back it showed me disc reading problem. So i decided to visit Sony authorised service centre at aurangabad.
Problem faced no. 1) Sony service centre asked me to give A.c cable to run and to test product.I asked them i am not carrying the cable as i m visitng Service centre( expecting they must have it).Then Service centre representative told me "I cant check your product".( IS IT MY DUTY TO TAKE ALL ACCESSORIES FOR THEM TO TELL THEM THIS IS MY PROBLEM WHEN I AM VISITING SONY SERVICE CENTRE)
2) Sony Service centre told me that they do not repair this playstation so u have to go to pune to avail this facility.As they are handling complaints of camera and music system only at aurangabad centre only.
After some conversation they got ready to send my product to pune on their own cost but they mentioned it will take 15 to 30 days to get it repair.
then i asked them it is a long time. they said you have to bear this. I said ok send my product.
3) This i will tell you in conversation which i had with service centre guy.
Service centre reperesentative - [/B]Can you show me the bill.
I - yes Sure, i showed him bill (of bill no. 3205 of Sai electronics).
Service centre reperesentative - ok Sir, iwill check in system.
he goes inside and came back and told me.
Service centre reperesentative - your product Model no. is SCPH-77004 CB, but on your bill it is mentioned Sr no.- 77004. So i cant entertain you.
I - what should i do.
Service centre reperesentative - Go to SAI electronics and bring fresh bill matching the model no. and serial no.
I visited Sai electronics (authorised dealer of sony) aurangabad. he told me it is not possible.
Now i have query ,
1) As a new customer for Sony playstation do anyone have the information how to take your bill from sony authorised dealer.what model no. should be mention on the bill.
2) Is it not the responsibility of Sony india to provide proper guidelines to their auhorised dealers that how should they make bill for its product.
3) Why should i get mental harrassment due to negligence of sony india and its dealers?
4) Why i am not getting warranty service due to irresponsible behavior of Sony dealer?
Is it a way to treat to the customers by Sony India , if it is then why i am buying it from sony india. i should go for greymarket product.
