Respected Sir/ Madam,

Please note that I have purchased 1 (one) Laptop through Credit Card from M/s. COMPUTER HEART, situated at Kalita Complex , 1st Floor, Opposite SBI, Ulubari, Guwahati on the date of 30th June, 2009. However, they have given me a cash memo (Cash Memo No. 1435. Dated 30/06/09) of Rs. 50,500.00 (Fifty thousand five hundred only) but have charged Rs. 51,257.00 (Fifty one thousand two hundred fifty seven only) from my Credit Card
( ICICI Credit Card No. 5176 5370 7645 2109. MID: 50124641. BATCH: 000562. INV: 000281. RREF No. 000000000558). While I asked the clarification, they informed me that as I have paid the bill from my Credit Card, they have charged 1.5% extra.
But, after confirmation from the ICICI Bank, the Bank Clarified that the amount (1.5%) should be paid by the Traders and not by the card holders (Customers). Here too mention that while I used my Credit card for purchasing other items earlier in different places, they never charged any extra money. However, here they have charged me extra money. Kindly may I have the actual fact of it and your observation on the above. I had previously lodged the complain but there was no suitable Reply from your side.
