Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to complain about the unacceptable treatment that I received in a well reputation restaurant “Filfora – Bhopal” last Sunday when I was intended to have dinner with my wife.
First of all, we waited for thirty minutes to get a table, but it is completely understandable that a good restaurant is full on a day like that, including we were given a table just in front of the exit & entrance path way because there was not any other available. Following that, we stayed in a very noisy table as the waiter has recommended us, it was near the kitchen so we listened everything that was going on there. Second thing is that, we waited for about half an hour before waiter came to us and gave us a menu list. After another half an hour we finally received drinking water. Nevertheless, we ordered chosen dishes and lingered over our teas. But after about an hour we realized that we had not received our order. I tried to get waiter's attention but it was futile. When I had the opportunity to ask him what happened I only encountered with a rudeness and very strong words like “ you have to wait for a small piece of time, either you are free to take your decision”.
The second disappointing point was & that makes the matter worse, is that the restaurant is almost full of customers & still coming some new customers with their families they were not proposed for waiting. Unfortunately the another things comes true was very shocking “The manager of the restaurant was come to us & said can you please leave this table & swap with another near by table ASAP & have been forced for this” as we are waiting for meal very comfortably, so as we have said we are sitting very comfortably, so he was very admant, misbehaved and was reluctant.
It was quite a disappointment with manager & working staff rampage behavior against us & we were obliged to change our minds to go through to another restaurant & have scampered from there.
I very much hope that consumer forum will take care of this matter in order to prevent others to be abused from this restaurant and I am afraid to say that i will have no alternative but to put the matter in the hands of my solicitors within the next days.
