This has to inform tou that an incident happned with me on September 3,actually I went to a petrol pump (Bharat Petroleum outlet at Anand vihar road, near Yamuna Sports complex, adjacent to Ram lila ground East delhi).
and I asked petrol pump worker to fill up petrol of Rs 700 and I hopped outta my car, to keep an eye on the machine, as the meter reading approached around Rs 380 another worker approached me and he managed to divert my attention towards himself by keeping me busy in enquiring about the receipt of fuel,.... and when I turned around towards machine the meter reading showed Rs 700 and the worker was just removing the pipe, the time gap between my observations was 5 sec. I cant believe how can a machine fill up fuel of Rs 320 in less than 5 sec so I asked him did he filled it correctly or not, he said yes...but I didn't believe him I had a doubt on him.
and this doubt got cleared on 9 july 2009 when my fuel tank become almost empty after covering just 125 kms.

This incident has happened not only to me but to every one. Whenever I went to fill up fuel I have faced many problems like they keep on increasing and lowering the valve/switch/hoze at the end of pipe which causes non uniform and less flow of petrol into car...this problem is faced by everyone who get his car filled up.

I just wanted to draw your kind attention towards this matter and hope that you can undertand the gravity of this matter and even that how these crooks cheat people as you know that fuel prices are reaching sky, how difficult will it become to run a vehicle when people are facing these problems everyday.
But no body pays attentions to these crooks but police man can beat up a child who can steals Rs 50. but no one gives a damn to these crooks.

So I wanted help of your reputed newspaper to open the eyes of government organisations like weight and measures department and to understand peoples grievances.

Through the help of your reputed newschannel I would like to alert the citizens and government.

I myself faced these kinda problems at the follwoing pertrol pumps..

1. Rama Service station- Indian oil opposite anand vihar bus station, adjacent East delhi mall
2.Bharat Petroleum outlet at Anand vihar road, near Yamuna Sports complex, adjacent to Ram lila ground
3. Indian oil outlet at mayur vihar , next to CNG station.

Your early action in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Yes you are right about the below mentioned petrol pump especially

I had the same experience and this guys are simply cheats. With my car it can let me know how much more I can travel and so I was able to make the difference once he filled in the petrol. But he argued saying that it was right in front of my eyes and these guys have the technique to come in groups. One will try to clean the glass of the car and other wil try different technique to get your attention else where. These guys should be caught.
