Undue amount of surcharge levied w.e.f. 16th jan 2010 for non working meter DJB is imposing surcharge on our bill as our meter appears to be stopped.to them.but the fact is that we are not using the DJB water supply for past 5 yrs due to very poor quality of water .But time & again meter reader is complaining that our meter is defective & we need to change it although that is not the case.our bill value has soared from Rs 100 app. to Rs 670 app. from 16th Jan 2010 .but the problem remains the same even if we change our meter since we wont use it & also dont want to disconnect it for any type of emergency.
