Here is story that bucked me up. Congrats BSNL and thank you Thou

CBI arrests BSNL DGM

The CBI has registered a case against a Deputy General Manager (ITS-
94 batch) posted at Optical Fibre Project, in M/s. Bharat Sanchar
Nigam Limited, Hubli u/s. 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act-1988 for
demanding a bribe of Rs. 5000/- from one of the suppliers of
materials to BSNL, Hubil for clearing the outstanding bills.

During the investigation of the case, searches were carried out at
the office and residential premises of accused at Hubli. Cash worth
Rs. 26.40 lakhs was found stacked in envelopes and boxes.



In addition to the cash, assets such as 881 gms of gold/ornaments
worth Rs. 10 lakhs (approximately) ; 4.85 Kgs of Silver articles
worth Rs. one lakh (approximately) ; title documents of a house in
Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) worth Rs. 35 lakhs; title documents of a
site worth Rs. 4.5 lakhs in Mysore and 3-bank accounts with a
balance of Rs. 1.70 lakhs (approximately) were found during the
searches. The accused has been arrested.
