I think you are too nice to him and he's taking undue advantage. You should
not have paid him anything you did not agree to - and if he was not on the
same terms, he was / is free to leave & so you can you also ask him to leave
for any/no reason.

Hello,
Does anyone have experience in dealing with car drivers hired on
employment, when they cheat, and change terms in between?
I have a problem on same lines. I hired a driver one year back, and
now he is discontinuing his services. The mutual oral agreement was
that when my office is closed or children's school is closed, he need
not come to work, and on Saturday, Sunday also. Now, he claims that
April, May are school holidays, and he needs that period to be treated
as holiday with pay. I didn't agree when this came up for discussion
in April and said he need to work. He came to work on few days, and
now he demands Rs. 5600 money for working 2 months, in addition to
monthly salary of Rs. 5200. I agreed on one month salary as bonus, and
i am paying the same now. Apart from this, he wants attendance bonus
for coming to work.
I am documenting the chronology of events last one year, and going to
seek redressal from customer court. I would like to receive feedback
from this group on the same. Unfortunately, no written document or
proof on what we agreed orally one year back.

hari

Dear Sir
THanks for your response. But, he expressed his willingness to stop
his employment. While settling dues, he is not reasonable, asking for
more money, to cover up dues he owe me..
I am planning to write a letter to him, and giving him 10 days time to
either settle the dues by paying back, or complete his employment for
1 more month (there by settling the dues). I will tell him that i will
file a police complaint failing to do so.
Is this approach okay
regards
THrough him out and dont pay any additional amount other then his
salary fixed per month. He can not do any thing as he is not covered
by any service regulation. In case he trouble you file complaint with
police.Dont make any corrospondece with him.
