On the 24th of July i.e. last Saturday we had visited the Lifestyle Store (Rajouri Garden, New Delhi) to buy a teether for my baby.

The product was manufactured by Nuby (Luv'n'Care). The information such as date of packaging, date of expiry, manufactured information is printed on the product itself. But lifestyle re-places a new label on to the same and the above important information such as date of packaging is changed on the lifestyle label. The product expiry date is counted from the date of packaging i.e. 5 years from the date of packaging. The original packaging date is April 2009 but on the label which was pasted by lifestyle on the product, the date of packaging was April 2010.

Without wasting a moment, we had gone through with all the products was hanging out there and surprised to see that the same thing happened with every product. This clearly indicates that they are selling the old babies products which were originally packed in April 2009 but they changed the date of packaging.

Upon had a long debate on the same the lifestyle floor manager did not give an answer for the above mistake. We even as of now not received any satisfactory answer from them. We only received two calls to change the same product instead.

Being a responsible father it becomes my duty to keep you aware above the above blunder.

Timely legal help sought at this juncture ensures that one gets justice. A letter to consumer court is then a better way to complaint against the above issue and to keep other parents aware of the same.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us, this may help other Consumers, apart form this send a written notice to the CMD of LifStyle and ask them the clarification on the above mentioned complaint, wait for their response and revert us back.

It is really disgusting to find a poor quality of product and poor quality of service from such a big leaders in the retail business.

When we entered ito an agreement to buy a product ferom your store, we were happy that we have joined hands with such a global leader.

But Contrary to that, we are at a shock to find such a poor stuff from your goodself. This is in reference to the following particulars:

Problem : We had a demo of same product at your floor, and it looked great without any movements, and holding on to the wall , so that it wont lean forward once one opens it.

But today when your carpanter instalkled it, it was not able to stand onto its feet and as soon as one opens its doors it leans over the person and your carpanter had no solution for it.

I would request you to look into the matter urgently.

This concerns a piece of footwear which I bought from the Lifestyle store in Jaipur. The piece was obviously defected with it getting broken within a month in which it was bought. I took the piece to the store and they sent it to the repair shop. Even when they had apparently "repaired" my footwear, it was as faulty as earlier. On requesting them to change it, the manager was rude, intolerant and indifferent to my complaints.
In a time where consumer satisfaction is given maximum importance, it is disappointing to have such an experience in a leading store. Can you please tell me how should i approach higher authorities for the replacement of my footwear?
