Hello,

This post is to bring to the attention of everyone in public interest. The website of irctc is purposely kept unavailable during morning hours (8AM - 9.30AM) every day (Sunday - Saturday) throughout the year (365 days literally). This is obviously to ensure that the touts are able to book the tickets ahead of the general public. It is such an shame that to fill the pockets of few greedy people the whole of country is deprived of the facility. Of course, this also confirms the fact that even people from irctc are involved in the same as otherwise how do you explain the unavailability of the site every single day.

Can someone please look into the same? If this is not the right forum to bring this up then I would appreciate someone pointing me to the correct forum to take this up.
