I have had a long relationship with Indian Bank over the past few years. This is regarding one of the pending issues since quite some time(2010). It pains me to see that this issue is being ignored at all the levels of Indian Bank customer service.

I had tried contacting personnel at the local branch in Delhi(Karol Bagh), where the responsible person who had known my case, have got transferred to different location. I had also contacted the 'customer care' over phone, which was not really helpful either. Repeated calls to main branch in Chennai have been rendered useless too.

Issue:
I had used credit card issued from Indian bank and due to financial breakdown, I requested a settlement. The foreclosure request letter acknowledged by Indian bank- dated 13th of April, 2010. However, I receive credit card statements till date mentioning the penalty charges and so on; seems to me that payment made by me was never taken into account. After a long tracking and frequent calls to Chennai branch (which is the only contact mentioned in monthly statement). They confirm the payment received of Rs 16,500/- on 11th of October, 2011 via mail and asks for another payment of Rs 1000/-, which was also credited to that account. I tried to contact Mr. Hegde (as the higher management as per their website), but no reply !!

Please look into the matter. I hope that this would be resolved at the earliest.
