I have two bank a/c (savings) one is personal & another is joint a/c with KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK for the last 2 years.
I was staying at Bhiwadi (Rajasthan) & opened my a/c at Bhiwadi Branch, later I shifted to New Delhi in 2011. My present address is 14, Amardeep Aptts., Sector 9, Rohini, New Delhi - 110085. I got my address changed in the a/c after many visits to the Rohini Branch. They did not transfer my account, instead they added my correspondence address as of New Delhi. They started sending letters at my address including the statement of a/c at my New Delhi address.
Just recently I punched for cheque book at one of the ATM on 16.04.12, on 18th April, I got the SMS on my mobile that " AS PER YOUE REQUEST, WE HAVE DISPATCHED A NEW CHEQUE BOOK FOR YOUR A/C XXXX5702 TO YOUR CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS REGISTERED WITH US".
But, after many follow ups with the Bank through Net Banking & speaking to the customer care people, I was assured that the cheque book has been dispatched at New Delhi address. But, on 1st of May, I had a talk with Ms. Harmeet & registered the complaint vide no. 1 - 1918276401. She told me that the cheque book had been delivered at New Delhi address, after denial, she told me that the cheque was sent to Bhiwadi's addres & returned back & lying at Bhiwadi Branch. No body is bothered about the same.
IT IS ALMOST 15 DAYS SINCE I REQUESTED FOR CHEQUE BOOK, NOW I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO COLLECT THE SAME FROM BHIWADI, WHICH IS 100 KMS. ONE SIDE, WHY SHOULD I GO & COLLECT THE CHEQUE BOOK. WHO WILL PAY FOR THAT?
Who is responsible for this delay & causing unnecessary harassment & wastage of my precious time?
Why the service is so bad? I was supposed to give advance cheque to my land lord, he is blaming me for this & will charge interest in lieu of this. Who will pay all this?
Pl. get this solved & I want the compensation in lieu of this abnormal & careless delay & attitude of the bank.

Refer to the above contents, it seems that Bank authorities are so casual in dealing with customers, hardly any feeling or realization towards their RESPONSIBILITIES. The cheque book was delivered & I was asked to visit the ROHINI BRANCH by Mr. AKHIL, but just to show the concern, but all that resulted in just a part of the DRAMA (involving all others in the episode right from TOP TO BOTTOM).
He asked me to fill up the forms for transferring the HOME Branch from BHIWADI to ROHINI (New Delhi Branch) almost one month back. Even after many visits, agian the same scenario, the application has been forwarded but no reply & they are just waiting & can not do further.
Is it the right approach adopted by the senior people out there.
I TELL YOU, WHY THEY ARE NOT IN FAVOR OF CHANGING THE HOME BRANCH, BECAUSE EVERY TIME THE CASH IS DEPOSITED IN OTHER THAN HOME BRANCH, THE CASH CHARGES ARE LEVIED & BANK IS EARNING THIS WAY OR THE OTHER.
ITS RIDICULOUS, PLAYING WITH THE CUSTOMERS & TAKING UN NECESSARY ADVANTAGE OF THE SYSTEM.
I KNOW HOW MUCH I HAVE PAID UN NECESSARILY FOR DEPOSITING THE CASH IN OTHER THAN BHIWADI (HOME) BRANCH.
PLEASE GET ME THE COMPENSATION ALSO ON THIS ACCOUNT ALONG WITH THE CHANGE IN HOME BRANCH FOR BOTH MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT..
