I am Sandeep, residing in Delhi and working in Gurgaon.

Around one month ago I got a call from Standard Chartered for Credit Card. On first instance I denied but the representative continued to call me everyday. Later on I agreed and she sent a runner to pick my documents. I asked for reciept or any confirmation or reference number but she sait it will be generated online and will be sent to my cell phone and email ID. Later on, verification guy came to my office and took some more documents.

It really seems that my documents have been taken by some agency for fraud purposes and they would use the documents for issuance of credit card but the same will never be delivered to my home.

Please let me know what should I do now and how to check if my documents have been used for fraud purposes?

Please do the needful at the earliest as early remedy would save problems likely to crop up in future.
