ID:	5228I am writing this complaint on behalf of my father, Mr. K P Kumaran as he is hospitalised for last one month. He got a call on his phone number on 21.11.2011. The caller was talking in english/ Hindi which he cannot understand clearly. After this conversation, his credit card account was debited (he has not given his consent for the same knowingly)for rs.5499/- And he got an email from sbi card for the same. He replied that the transaction is not by his consent on 29.11.2011. Further to this we have been following up with sbi card and dining plus regarding reversal of this mis-selling transaction. But we have not received any reply from either parties. Meanwhile my father's credit card account gets debited for rs.700 pm for late payment charges, interest, financial charges, annual fee.
My father'scredit card number is 4317 XXXX XXXX 5848.

    Default complaint

A week ago, I was getting many calls from dining plus company then finally when I picked one call dated 17th April 2012 evening with this number +911130967200 and the caller stated that he is belonging to SBI Card and tell my billing address. I do believe that he is a genuine executive from SBI. He explained about dining plus card and the tour vouchers and asked SBI card number. I blindly believed and gave my card number. After this conversation, my credit card account was debited for rs.5499/- and i did not give my consent for the same knowingly and i found that most of the people are become victims like me. Please do the needful and make necessary legal actions on them. If possible please block my transaction and restrict others to know the customer information.

Default Misuse of HDFC Bank Credit Card

I have received a call from Dining Plus on 13th April 2012 regarding discount cards and their offers which I refused them over phone but they started telling about all their offers and somehow they got my credit card number and told me that this is a free offer and for this no charge is to be paid in the begining or anually. During that conversation they asked my credit card number and I refused to give it but they assured me that they are asking this card number just to verify it that whether I hold this card or not. So after refusing many times I gave them my card number.

When ever I make payments through Credit Card I have to give the @@@ number and the Password to verify the transaction. Then on 16th April 2012 in the evening a message came in my mobile number that a payment of Rs.5499/- deducted for Dining Plus card. Immediately after getting the message I called the credit card customer care and asked them that how can a payment be made without my consent and without the @@@ number. Customer care executive told me that drop a dispute charge form against the unauthorised transaction so that the credit card executives can investigate the payment. Then I called the Dining Plus persons and asked them how did you make the payment from y credit card without my consent? Who authorised you to make the payment from my credit card? They went on explaining me about their product but I wanted my money back to my credit card. For this I had to block my credit card and the HDFC Bank has issued me a new credit card against this.

Either the bank must have some tie up with these merchants and they are sharing the personal information of the card holders or the bank officials are doing this on their own.

These should be stopped immediately please take some necessary steps to stop all these.

I got a message on my mobile that Rs.6999-00 was charged to my card towards M/s Dining Plus Membership on 23-04-2012. I was astonished to see the same and immediately I sent by dispute form online to SBI Card mail id given by the Customer Care SBI Credit cards. HOw the SBI Cards is sharing such sensitive information to others i.e. Card number payment history etc., This made me to think about the security of SBI Card. SBI Credit card should not have allowed such things without the consent from the card holder. Any where the dining plus representative revealed the financial implication further cheated me saying that the service offered is free of cost and also assured that no charges will be levied for that purpose from my card. I request you to guide me how to proceed in this regard. Radha Krishna P
