Dear Sir/Madam,

I have taken a Cheque from Indian bank, Srikalahasti cheque No.391753 for 51442/-on 16-01-2012 and deposited into my ICICI Bank A/c on 16-01-2012. But the cheque is not credited into my A/c. Because ICICI Bank officials says that cheque was wrongly delivered. Indian bank officials issued a cheque which was overwritten by them but it is illegal as per the RBI rules. Bank officials must know the RBI Rules. So their neglegance only it is not credited into my A/c. Why bank officials don't know about the RBI rules ? I need the amount very urgent. It will take atleast 15 days to return old cheque and get new cheque. So stringent action should be taken against the employee who issues such type of cheques.
