Hi,

I have made a transfer with money2india which is an ICICI bank service of sending money to india with reference of M2N12703133 on 18th of december 2011. Initially they said they would transfer and send a confirmation email when the money would be ready, i waited for ten days and called them n then was asked to send a email. Email was sent and they asked the beneficiary to go to the bank to collect the money, when the beneficiary went to the bank they asked for a CP number and there was no CP given so i phoned them was told there is no such thing as CP number n asked beneficiary my mom to call to the number from a branch she went in again n called and was told the CP number is there and would be sent in the confirmation email. So there is no consistency, after 4-5 phone calls and emails they then told me where to find it on my online login. i thought finally the problem is solved, in the beneficiary id proof i entered was pan card for the beneficiary and my mom misplaced her pan card but took rest of her documents such as driving license rest of the stuff they put the transfer on hold and asked me call them again, so when i called i was asking them to change the proof of id but they said i need to email saying the same, then after 48 hours was told it cannot be done. so i replied again so what are the alternatives, they waited another 24-48 hours and gave me the option of putting the money directly into the account with the beneficiary details. I did that and they ignored my emails totally no response at all, called them n got an answer would be replied in 24 hours, nothing happened called them again n asked me to send an email again no response for it as well. then called again they said for the inconvenience n gave me a reference saying saying to wait for 48 hours for confirmation and this unending saga continues. its the 10 of Jan nothing so 23 days for a transfer.

This money is for medical expenses of my mom who is unwell, she had to visit branch three times and i made innumerous calls to customer services from UK which is an absolutely pointless service as they cannot solve anything. I hope ICICI is not doing this to earn interest on this money.
