I am customer of HDFC bank, and having an saving account with Akola branch, till last year it was operating as salary account with "o" balance facility. Now I have change it with SBI as per my companies request, but I don't want to discontinue banking with HDFC, however it is not possible for me to maintain an average quarterly balance of Rs 10000 as per the HDFC bank policy, which is necessary to continue the saving act facility & the bank has charged the penalty of 825 Rs two times for not maintaining AQB of 10,000 Rs, and it was waived off on my request & assurance of maintaining 10000 AQB.
Now my concern is that, why there is this kind of harassment from private sector bank, where all other nationalised bank ask for only 1000 Rs balance.
