I would like to state the fact that when ICICI bank had provided false information in the AIR (Annual Income Report) for 2008-2009.

They quoted my PAN number and uploaded the data, saying I have used my credit card (that I have with ICICI) for transferring Rs. 19.23 Crores in the year 2008-2009.

The surprising part is that, when I asked ICICI bank to provide my credit card statement and bank statements for the same period, there was no such transaction.

Another important thing is that, my Credit Card has a limit of Rs 1.2 Lakhs only and hence even if I do 1.2 Lakhs transaction everyday it can never meet the above stated number in one year.

My concern is, how a Bank could be so ignorant about these financial details. After multiple follow-ups they have sent me an applogy mail saying the data was loaded wrongly and they have corrected the issue.

I am a salaried employee and I am currently outside the country, when I got the e-mail from ITO Bhubaneswar, I was shocked and I was also afraid that, if somebody has put my name for divesting this big money then people can as well put my name for mis-utilizing this big money in some criminal activities.

I was under severe mental trauma for last 3-4 months and I had no clue to what is going to happen next. My whole family was under deep stress and I was also very scared of my families future because of this wrong doing.

I want some legal action against ICICI bank and would certainly want compensation so as to avoid this kind of mistakes for any other customer and also to secure my families future (which is of utmost importance for me).
