    Default Icici bank remittance m2x11204025

I initiated remittance on Dec 13, 2011 and same day the amount was debited from my US A/C. I also received mail from ICICI BANK 'Request Received'. However, after that there is no update on to it.

When I call their customer care 'US: 866 42 42 448', they have no clue (and believe me its all the time) what they are talking about. Few examples:

    1) What is currency in which you made tranfer? (Not sure if they are sitting there without system)
    2) Did you tranfer indicate/fixed rate? (When you do Power Tranfer, there is no option of Fixed Tranfer. They are so ill-trained and unprofessional. These are the representatives who are serving USA customers so you can expect the kind of service you will/are receive/ing in India).
    3) Did you sent mail with snap-shot? (Before that did they ask me to do so).
    4) I did send mail to them (More than 24 hours no response).

Inshort, ICICI Bank is vulnerable and I'll try to cut down by business with them as much as possible.

Anyways, above was my frustation. However, the real issue is I haven't got my money yet and its already Dec 16, 2011 (Business Hours Ended in India by this time and then you have weekend). I would have got my money at the rate of ~43.60 if this would have been got tranferred in time but now its back on ~52.

ICICI Bank - Please note that if will not get the money with the rate which was there on Dec 13/Dec14. I will ensure I sue you guys here, irrespective of how much I have to spend here to sue you guys or compain to OCC organization in USA. I am just waiting to get my money and see what I am going to get.

    Best of Luck!!!!

Other Folks: Please keep a note, I know that ICICI is an Indian Bank and even when you compare with Citi Bank, on any single day you will get 10 paise (which makes big difference if you are tranferring in $) more if you tranfer via Citi Bank. Still, I used ICICI Bank because I though whatever money they are charging with remain with India unlike Citi Bank (where money strenthens US economy). However, I would suggest, if we continue to get such frustating service from them we should change our thought process.

    Hi,

I initiated remittance on Dec 13, 2011 and on the same day the amount was debited from my US A/C (Chase Bank, Snap Shot Attached). I also received mail from ICICI BANK 'Request Received' (snap-shot attached) on the same day. However, after that there is no update on to it.

When I call their customer care 'US: 866 42 42 448', they have no clue what they are talking about. Few examples:

    1) What is currency in which you made transfer? (Not sure if they are sitting there without system)
    2) Did you transfer indicate/fixed rate? (When you do Power Transfer, there is no option of Fixed Transfer. They are so ill-trained and unprofessional.
    3) Did you sent mail with snap-shot? (Before that did they ask me to do so).
    4) I did send mail to them (More than 24 hours no response).

In short, ICICI Bank is vulnerable and I'll try to cut down by business with them as much as possible. However, could you please help me get my money back in US Bank (Chase) or get it transferred to account it was initiated for.

I would request you to please take this complaint against them and help me getting the response if needed, please do not allow to do business in US if they cannot provide responses to their customers.

I am really upset and frustrated about it.

    Hi,

The funds against the Money2India tracking number M2X******** have been credited to the beneficiary account. You can check the status of your transaction through your Money2India account under the option 'Track your Remittance', in the logged in section.

    Regards,

Default Even Worse Experience-Tracking No. M2X11199545

I initiated the transfer on December 6, 2011. Beneficiary account got the money on December 7, 2011.

I find it is not credited in my ICICI account bank in India even after four days.

I called the Customer care and sent them screen shoot of the Transaction on December 13, 2011.

All the Customer Care stuff under Ms. Gayatri in Hyderabad and NRI banking Customer care stuff were utterly noncooperative. They harassed me a lot and are still harassing with nonsense emails. They tried to delay as long as possible to allow to decline exchange rate from over 70 Euro per ruprees to Rs. 68.45.

They started saying with they call back by 48 hours then no response. Again they 24 hours and so on unless I threaten to lauch a fraud case.

Now when I am claiming compensation they are saying that I did not supplied Tracking number. It is again a way of misleading and cheating. Nordea Bank do not allow any money transfer without appropriate reference no. that Transaction number. So There is no question of my mistake. I am now planning to go to court as They have cheated nearly 16000 rupees.

It seems ICICI money to India has experised in this kind of Cheating. I had noticed in three ocassion in past when they credited money at the lowest available rate. But last experience is horrible. I have made huge business with ICICI for last 8-9 years and now planning to stop and withdraw my acount as well.

    Please advice.
